My Winter Must-Have: Hunter Wellies
We're thrilled to present our favorite Lucky story here on Fab!
I hope you are off enjoying some sun and fun in warmer climates rather than being stuck here in New York in the 20+ inches of snow that yesterday's blizzard dumped on us. This weather calls for hot cocoa, bad TV and a thick blanket. However, if, like me, you are forced to head out into the arctic, there is really only one appropriate footwear of choice: Hunter Wellington boots. Kate Moss made wellies fashionable in 2005 when she sported them at the Glastonbury Music Festival with short-shorts and a tank top (it goes without saying that she is a sartorial genius), and I picked up a pair for myself shortly thereafter.
I've seen people trudging about today in leather boots, which I can only imagine are soaked through, or even worse, sneakers where their pants are as wet as their feet must be. Ladies, throw on your skinny jeans, some thick, woolly socks and get out there. It's really the only way to go.

Lacoste Revamps Its Look With the "Unconventional Chic"
In an effort to revamp its image, Lacoste is launching a new 2011 ad campaign featuring Liya Kebede and Anja Rubik, among others, topping their eveningwear with the label's iconic polo. As Lacoste's Chief Executive Officer Christophe Chenut explained, the new ads are part of the company's attempt to embody the brand's statement: "We're showing that you can be chic in a different way, not just when you are dressed up for a party or for the office." Sure, they've got some hot models working the look, but I want to know, does this "different" kind of chic speak to you?

Extremely Warm and Incredibly Chic: Winter Vests
We absolutely love the look and feel of Winter vests. They're a supremely functional layering piece that can be paired with everything from long dresses to jeans and sweaters, plus they work in Spring and Fall, too. On the Fall 2010 runway, Winter vests were styled so fashionably, they defined the outfit, and between shearling, faux fur, real fur, leather, and puffers, there are more than a few ways to wear the look. That said, we've helped narrow it down with 15 of our favorites; now it's up to you to get one and style it out your way.

Issa's Making It Easier For You to Get Your Hands on Kate Middleton's Dress
Admittedly, we've been eying Kate Middleton's engagement photos with envy, but it's not just because of the rock, or her fiancé. Actually, since we spied the soon-to-be princess smiling in her easy, sexy, royal blue silk jersey dress, we've wanted to add a piece of the Issa label to our own wardrobes. As luck would have it, the London-based Issa founder and designer, Daniella Helayel, got the message. With sights set on expanding the label into a global brand, Daniella announced plans to relaunch in the US, offer ecommerce through the Issa website, and open six stores in her native Brazil. And, if you're wondering what might be in store for Fall, this designer's got more to love than Kate's little blue dress: "I've got an amazing print archive and hundreds of dress shapes — most of which have never been used."
