The start of a new year brings a great opportunity to reflect — we can look back on what we accomplished, and make resolutions for the coming 12 months. I always look forward to cleaning out the old closet and making room for fresh new pieces. With less than 48 hours until a brand-new year, I thought it necessary to highlight some of the things I'm planning — and coveting — when the clock strikes midnight. Inspired Style: Ladylike Leopard
Odette Yustman's been on our radar for her chic, no-fuss style sense. Here, she masters two trends in one take — a little leopard and a ladylike, maxi length Blu Moon skirt ($154) that manages to look cool and totally sophisticated all at once. Channel the same style with a pretty, full skirt ($250), then add a dose of the wild print on top ($70) — or vice versa. The bonus is that this pair will still feel fresh and on-trend come Spring. Celeb Style: Portia de Rossi
Portia de Rossi got back to basics while in St. Barts with wife Ellen DeGeneres. Her gauzy white camisole and slouchy capris are a classic resort uniform, but she gives it a subtle dose of glam with layered necklaces. Top it off with a floppy straw hat ($9) and a cute beach bag ($54), and you're ready to go to the beach.

2010 Biggest Headline of the Year: Designers For Less
Topping this year's fashion news — and lists of our favorite things — designers for less continued to make headlines and changed our shopping ways forever. With promises of an affordable Karl Lagerfeld line for Macy's, and Alber Elbaz bringing Lanvin to H&M, there were few style stories that could outshine the impact these lower-cost designer goodies had on budgets — and our style!

In case you missed it, we've rounded up our favorite designer collections for less:
- Rachel Pally created an exclusive dress for Target shoppers, and Target keeps the cost-friendly designer goods coming with a limited-edition dress collection launching in the Spring.
- Vena Cava launched a lower-priced t-shirt line.
- Cynthia Vincent's Fab footwear hit Target stores.
- Valentino designed a ruffly chic collection for Gap Italy.
- Zac Posen also gave us a whimsical Target collection.
- Mulberry for Target was one of the most exciting collabs.
- And the latest high-low collection is William Rast for Target.
Celeb Style: Demi Moore
Demi Moore, with husband Ashton Kutcher, boarded a boat in St. Barts in true vacation style. How can you not love Demi's tribal-print Missoni maxi, especially when paired with black gladiator sandals, oversize sunglasses, and a Jimmy Choo raffia hobo? Some of her exact pieces are not available online, so shop these alternatives to mimic Miss Moore's awesome resort look.
Travel Style: Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian traveled — baby in tow — through the Miami airport in a cowboy-inspired ensemble. The whole outfit had a Western vibe, but especially her black fedora, buckle belt, and two-toned boots. Shop those pieces with a ribbed tunic and slightly faded skinny jeans and you'll have Kourtney's Tex-Mex look down pat.
