Last night, a beautiful bevy of celebs flocked toward Vera Wang's boutique opening party. In celebration of Vera's new LA address, Renée Zellweger wore a two-toned strapless dress; Amber Valletta donned a textural LBD; Rachel Zoe fluttered in an intricate organza piece; Reese shined in a satin purple frock; and Mila dazzled in an artsy gray and black creation. With exception of Zoe's frock, the rest are all Vera. Which party look do you prefer?
The fashion world will never be done mourning Alexander McQueen. But, according to PPR president Francois-Henri Pinault, the brand will go on. Before we witness McQueen's last Fall RTW collection at Paris Fashion Week, let's marvel at his pre-Fall pieces. Each one more stunning than the next, further solidifying the late designer's genius status. Tweeds, graphics, suits, coats, fur, lace — not to be missed, seriously.
Rachel Bilson was photographed leaving La Scala restaurant in LA looking stylish in denim. She paired a faded jean jacket (like this one by Current/Elliott) with black skinny jeans and a mocha-colored tee by Market for an easy, casual look. A Chloe bag and heeled black boots provided some swank, while her fade-out hair color and trusty Ray-Bans lent some extra hipness. Check it all out now!
Kourtney Kardashian looked fit and fabulous as she was seen paying a visit to Dash, Miami. Wearing this Spring's hot trend, a green cargo shirt, she added distressed boyfriend jeans and neutral platform sandals to make a comfortable, mom-appropriate look. To brighten things up, she toted an electric blue Chanel (similar in color to this Balenciaga) and wore a gold Cartier watch. Shop these like items to achieve the same trendy look!
Travel expert Casey Wohl*, The Getaway Girl®, says the key to a great vacation is packing smart.
Beauty bag. Casey recommends good multitasking products like Dove Visibly Smooth because it minimizes the look and feel of underarm hair over time and provides 24-hour odor and wetness protection. She’s not alone — 99 percent of women who have tried Dove Visibly Smooth would recommend it to a friend!
What to wear. "Layering is key, so pack a cardigan or jacket that can transition outfits," says Casey. Pick one color scheme and pack versatile items. "I pack dark jeans that can be casual or dressy with a change of top or jewelry."
Limit the shoes. Think through planned activities and be realistic about how many shoes to bring. "You’ll do more walking than you think," says Casey, who emphasizes the importance of comfortable flats.
