True, Lindsay Lohan got booted from Ungaro, but the actress still has her own 6126 line to keep her creative juices flowing. She recently expanded her repertoire from leggings to full-blown ready-to-wear and handbags. ". . . I wanted to create pieces that would allow you to pair your favorite leg wear items with your favorite statement blazer or top, transforming your look from day to night," she said. Ray-Ban's Iconic Aviator Redux
In an effort to revamp classic Ray-Ban eyewear, the brand is launching six new looks for the iconic Aviator. While the shades have become the habitual accessory of celebs, the brand is attempting to reestablish the edginess of the 60-year-old Aviator frames. The new styles, available in June, include the Ray-Ban Craft, Road Spirit, Tech, Titanium, Metal Glide, and the limited edition Ultra Gold, retailing from $139 to $495. While the Metal Glide and Road Spirit offer brighter-hued frames in fuchsia, yellow, and blue, the Tech, the Titanium, and the Ultra Gold lenses will include updates to the actual construction, like new carbon fiber and milled and gold titanium.
To celebrate these new "icons of eyewear" Ray-Ban's teaming up with icons of the rock music world. Tonight, Iggy & the Stooges join the brand for a concert at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn to relaunch the famous frames in rock-star style.
