We can always count on Karl Lagerfeld to think outside the fashion box. For Chanel's Fall ad campaign, the Kaiser shot Abbey Lee Kershaw — wearing a gaggle of furry textural black — in NYC. At first glance, the iconic brick backdrop seemed a bit overwhelming, but after staring at it for a while, I came to appreciate the awesome architectural angles. Even more so, the not-so-subtle Chanel railing is a fun touch. Are you feeling Karl's camera angle?
Really freaky movies scare me; so do big juicy bugs. But shoes? Never, until I laid eyes on these Camilla Skovgaard Knot Tassel Platform Mules ($393, originally $727). Close your eyes, image someone wearing them walking toward you, in a dark alley. Run! I'd like to consider myself experimental, but these are just nuts. Tell me your thoughts.
Fab reader Ajenda is something pretty and all about vintage finds. Her sweet little red dress is Summery perfection, while studded wedges play a cool counterpart. Plus, I love her unique additions — layered necklaces, crossbody bag, and woven leather belt. Styled pretty, sitting pretty.
Here's what she's wearing:
Congrats to Ajenda!
Everyone else, submit your looks, and I might feature you on FabSugar!
Elle looked girlish and sweet for the daily school run London. Her yellow peasant top and red sunglasses made an otherwise neutral outfit — nude sandals and a denim skirt — stand out for a bright, Summery look. As usual, she layered on the bracelets with her gold watch. Shop the items here to get a similar ensemble now!
Meet MIKOH, yet another awesome swim brand. MIKOH is derived from the sister designers' last name, Miller, their first names, Kalani and Oleema, and their little sister’s name, Hana. These mermaid sisters grew up on the beach in San Clemente, CA, practically living in bikinis, thus their premiere collection is inspired by travel. The separates hug curves and have a slight whimsy — an extra long tie, a twisted bow, a crochet back. The luxe colors cater to a tranquil state of mind: coral, olive green, and teal. Each piece is seamless and hardware-free — low maintenance — just the way I like it.
