Celeb Style: Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian strolled the streets of New York City in true style. From her suede over-the-knee boots to her open leather jacket to her Hermès bag, we're loving all of her trendy pieces. Shop those with basic leggings, a slubby tee, and an embellished necklace for the complete Kim look.
We Love Kirsten Dunst's Sweet, Girly Side
We doubt Kirsten Dunst intended to start a fashion controversy when she wore an innocent white Miu Miu dress to a New Year's Eve party. It was a classic Dunst dress, totally schoolgirl cute, and no surprise as she once fronted a Miu Miu ad campaign. Some say it wasn't an appropriate choice for a NYE, when sparkles and feathers and excess rule. We stand firmly behind Kirsten for staying true to her personal style, and to prove it, here are five of our favorite Kirsten Dunst looks.
Freja + Chanel Spring '11 Ad Campaign = Love

Supermodel Freja Beha Erichsen returns as the face of the latest Chanel ad campaign, shot by Karl Lagerfeld. The exotic surroundings, male model Baptiste Giabiconi looking introspective, and the wicker loveseats all set a romantic mood. Then there's Freja, looking totally cool in tough boots and a black-and-white outfit. We are fans of Freja, but we have to admit: that killer black and white Chanel bag almost steals the show. Here are more hot Spring ads to peruse.
Prepping For Warm Weather With Urban Outfitters's Early Spring Catalog
With all these celebrity vacations going on, my mind is definitely in sunnier pastures than my body is. And I say, it's never too early to start stocking up on warm-weather gear for Spring and Summer. It seems Urban Outfitters is on my wavelength because its early Spring catalog just bloomed in my inbox! There's lots of reasonably priced goodies to peruse, but here are 10 treasures — floral shades, a red pleated miniskirt, a PS1-inspired bag, some jelly sandals, and more!
Look of the Day: You Stole My Heart
For a lesson in cozy-chic layering, I'm not looking any further than Fab reader a r i — she hit the streets in a to-die-for layered ensemble that I'm feeling compelled to copy. She wore black leggings, an oversize striped sweater, and a faux-fur stole, then added a pair of studded open-toe heels with casual gray socks. Her gobs of jewelry and bright orange lipstick are the perfect touch. She totally stole my heart with this look, and I'm truly inspired!
Congrats to a r i!
Everyone else, submit your looks, and I might feature you on FabSugar!
United Bamboo Floral Print Suit: Love It or Hate It?
Contemporary designer United Bamboo debuted a floral print suit in their Pre-Fall collection. I love florals, but it's usually associated with soft, flowy things rather than a structured pant and jacket. It's certainly a more retro, whimsical take on a traditional work uniform. What do you think — would you rock it?
Fab Face: Joan Smalls
2010 was no small year for Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls. The woman known for her endless legs, powerful stare, and personal charm has walked the runway of every major fashion designer, including opening the Jason Wu and YSL Spring 2011 shows. Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, and David Sims have all shot her in editorials. She appeared in Gucci's Pre-Fall 2010 ad campaign and just recently signed on to be the new face of Estée Lauder. Phew. And it goes without saying that she's completely stunning. Here's a slideshow of some of our favorite Joan Smalls moments thus far.
Reader-Inspired Style: Purple Plus Stripes
We owe Fab reader Megan Zietz a big thanks for reminding us of the basic rule to avoid outfit boredom: accessorize with bold color and prints. By adding purple shoes and a striped scarf to her classic jeans and blazer, Megan makes her totally chic outfit distinctive. We love purple and stripes, so here are a few easy accessories you can add right now, all under $100. Click items to buy.
