Eva Mendes's Red Gucci Dress From All Angles
Eva Mendes took her siren status to new heights yesterday evening when she wore a Gucci runway dress from the Fall 2011 collection for the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Last Night. She paired the dress with a red lip, long locks, Jimmy Choo heels, and Van Cleef and Arpels jewelry. The result is a flowy, luxe '70s look that is heavy on glam. Click our slideshow to see all the shots of Eva, plus the original runway look as modeled by Joan Smalls.

Battle of the Minidress and Bootie Outfit: Rhoda vs. Sevigny
Mixing a feminine little dress with booties is one of our favorite Spring looks, and last night Hilary Rhoda and Chloe Sevigny wore the look with ease. Hilary paired a printed chiffon dress with suede booties and shoulder bag at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of Last Night, while Chloe paired a white-lace minidress with black booties, her Chanel purse, and a denim jacket for the Chanel Tribeca Film Festival Artists dinner. Both girls looked great — but if you were going to a Tribeca Film Festival event, which look would you choose?

Gwyneth Paltrow Signs on as Coach's Newest Face
Gwyneth Paltrow — actress, singer, GOOP editor, cookbook author, and model — has signed on to be the brand ambassador of Coach. The brand is celebrating its 70th anniversary next year, and Gwyneth will be the face of the Coach's ad campaigns for Fall 2011 and Spring 2012. To see the Coach/Gwyneth campaign, which will be shot by Peter Lindbergh, you'll have to leave the country, as the images will run exclusively in European and Asian markets and not in the US. Gwyneth said, "I'll never forget getting my first Coach bag — I'm so proud to be part of their 70th anniversary celebration." It's exciting news, but are you disappointed that the ads won't run in the US, considering Gwyneth's status as an American style icon and Coach being a classic American brand?

If it were a hot night, and you had a big night on the town planned, what would you wear? We might take a cue from Fab reader indieelectroalt, who mixes a little mini with a cool white vest with peep-toe booties for a downtown party look. We love the white and slate purple tones, mixed with a punch of blue from her fringed bag.

Dior's Tropical-Flavored Sunnies
If you haven't made it on that glamorous South Pacific vacation, take solace in the fact that you can at least look the part. Dior's "Les Marquises" sunglasses collection has all the bold colors of a tropical island as inspired by the Spring show, and is in stores now. We love the mix of colors and sporty style mixed with the more retro cat-eye shape. The sunglasses will retail for $295. We'll absolutely be wearing these poolside, in a palm-print swimsuit with a piña colada in hand. Click our slideshow to see all the styles.
