H&M's next collaboration isn't with a big-time designer. It's with a relatively under-the-radar personality: cool girl, model, and the Misshapes DJ Leigh Lezark. It's a smaller-scale collab that will be limited to England; Leigh and H&M are creating its first-ever store-within-in-a-store at Selfridges in London, set to open Aug. 25. Leigh will also curate an exclusive collection of her favorite clothing and accessories for the store. "My philosophy on both beauty and fashion is to be yourself and find your own style, so for me, the new edited-down H&M at Selfridges is an ideal shopping destination," said Lezark. "The curated pieces are, I feel, modern classics everyone should have in their wardrobe — and I have tried to throw in some color, too!" Sadly, the curated collection is solely for the UK, but we'll keep our eyes peeled for photos when the store debuts. We think it's interesting that H&M is doing smaller collaborations — who would you love to see H&M collaborate with here in the US? Tell us in the comments!

While we admit we're focused on getting our Fall wardrobes in order, we've always got an eye on year-round dressing, and Club Monaco is giving us some fantastic ideas. Its Spring 2012 collection, set to debut in January, was recently previewed to editors, and we love the soft color palettes, louche layering, and modern interpretation of classics. Here our favorite styling tips from Spring:
- Deep rust and mustard tones work with lighter colors and fabrics for those transitional months.
- Soft chiffon skirts benefit from a strong jacket or coat.
- Look for textural details: sequins, llamé, embroidery, and raffia add interest to versatile basics.

Preppy isn't what it used to be. We'll always have a soft spot for our well-worn sweaters, but the way J.Crew and Tommy Hilfiger have outfitted their modern prep has a little more eye-catching appeal. With bold colors and prints adding new dimensions to timeless pieces like trench coats and slacks, it's more about the way you put it all together. Nouveau prep is about melding sophistication with an uncanny cool and a healthy dose of wit and whimsy. To help you get the look, we've selected 15 standout pieces. From geeky-chic specs to a pair of metallic oxfords, think of this as your guide to navigating the new prep. Click through to shop now.

After earlier speculation in June, it has now been confirmed that Giambattista Valli will design a collection for Macy's. The designer, who's known for his decadent gowns worn by celebs like Emma Stone and Selena Gomez, is the fourth designer to participate in the Impulse Only at Macy’s collaboration. He follows on the heels of Karl Lagerfeld, whose collection debuts in September. Just in time for the Holiday season, expect a much dressier collection from Valli when it bows on Oct. 26. Drawing inspiration from his signature namesake collection, Valli's creations for Macy's is set to feature a predominantly red and black palette of cocktail dresses, skirts, blouses, jackets, and pants made in lace, tweed, brocade, fake fur, and tulle. The best part? The whole collection is set to retail from $50 to $150. There are no pictures yet, but we'll be on the lookout. For a refresher in Giambattista Valli's designs, check out his Fall 2011 runway collection.

We're zooming in on denim skirts for our next in-depth denim guide series, and while the thought of this trend might sound a little too '90s for your taste, we beg to differ. Designers like Chloé and Isabel Marant brought denim skirts back on their runways, showing us their interpretation of the denim skirt, ranging from loose A-line silhouettes to flouncier shapes, and we've also spotted some other notable contenders like chic pencil skirts, long maxi styles, and even brightly hued versions. Peruse the slideshow to see our top 10 denim skirt picks and why we love them.
A cloudy day didn't keep Fab reader CBladyàlamode from wearing a chic little dress — she warmed up the look by adding a pair of thick knee socks, a cable-knit sweater, and layering a t-shirt over her green dress. She accessorized with a pair of gold-tone sunglasses, various jewels, and a red vintage clutch. The layers of this look are just as amazing on their own as they are together!
Everyone else, submit your looks, and we might feature you on FabSugar!
