Pucci: Spring 2012

Peter Dundas showed off his signature sexy aesthetic for Pucci's gypsy bohemian Spring collection, highlighting gorgeous printed gowns, sexy midriff tops, and curve-hugging minidresses. For daywear, Dundas highlighted wide-leg trousers and Bermuda shorts paired with printed tops along with sexier options, like a fitted red pencil skirt vamped up with a sheer lace blouse. However, it was the decadent, over-the-top ensembles which stole the show. The sheer organza skirts, made of the brand's archival prints, and handkerchief gowns were gorgeous showstoppers. There were also an abundance of pantie-baring sheer gowns leaving little to the imagination and a beautiful yellow long-sleeved embellished minidress. In Pucci's world, if you got it, flaunt it.

  • Trends: Midriff tops, handkerchief hemlines, peasant tops, ruffles, Bermuda shorts, sheer.
  • Colors: Black, yellow, pink, red, white.
  • Key Look: The handkerchief hem gown, the yellow minidress, and the printed organza skirts.
  • Accessories: Sexy strappy stilettos, layered cross necklaces, oversize earrings, textured clutches.
  • Who Would Wear It: Girls who aren't afraid to experiment with bold cuts and silhouettes like Zoe Saldana and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Moschino Cheap & Chic Spring 2012

Rossella Jardini always brings out the fun in Fashion Week with her Moschino Cheap & Chic line, and her latest Spring collection didn't disappoint.
Moschino Cheap & Chic Spring 2012

Rossella Jardini always brings out the fun in Fashion Week with her Moschino Cheap & Chic line, and her latest Spring collection didn't disappoint. The lucky ones who got to attend the show were treated with fresh fruits and vegetables free for the taking on farmers market-style tables, which, of course, set the theme for the collection. Apple, grape, carrot, onion, and pepper prints all made its way on the runway via maxi dresses, car coats, and tiered skirts. For the strawberry lover, Jardini created a pink dress adorned with black, seed-like beads and a green bow. So cute. Since no farmers market is complete without flowers, Jardini completed the theme with an array of floral print shifts and notable pouf-skirt minidresses decorated with pretty watercolor prints. If this doesn't make you want to gobble up your fruits and veggies, we don't know what will.

  • Trends: Pouf-skirt minidresses, fruit prints, shift dresses, tiered skirts.
  • Colors: Yellow, green, white green, black, seafoam green.
  • Key Look: The strawberry dress and pouf-skirt minidresses were adorable.
  • Accessories: Metallic platform sandals, quilted clutches, floppy woven hats, double-strap flats.
  • Who Would Wear It: Girls who like wear fun standout pieces like Katy Perry and Dita von Teese.

Moschino: Spring 2012

Moschino's Rossella Jardini took a trip to Spain for the brand's Spring collection, showing beaded matador-inspired jackets, embellished skirts, fringed tops, and toreador hats. Dramatic, high-impact pieces that were tempered with romantic ruffled wrap dresses and lace bias-cut gowns made to flatter the figure. Described by Jardini as "very feminine and sensual but not sexy," the collection hit all the notes of the brand's signature bold-with-a-twist-of-fun style. The embellished jackets, which featured bells that jingled, were especially fun. Meanwhile, floral print peasant skirts, embroidered shorts, and printed smock tops provided chic options for daywear. More details from the collection below.

  • Trends: Embellished bolero jackets, fringe, knee-length skirts, short shorts, ruffles, peasant skirts.
  • Colors: Yellow, black, white, tan.
  • Key Look: We love the embellished bolero jackets and sexy ruffled wrap dresses.
  • Accessories: Gold ankle-wrap sandals, oversize earrings, toreador hats, double cuff bracelets, cat-eye sunglasses, bright beaded clutches, and small bags.
  • Who Would Wear It: Girls who crave high-drama statement pieces.
