Couture Fashion Week: Armani Privé
If you glimpsed Giorgio Armani's Spring Couture, you might just have one first thought: he's going green — literally. Initial reactions aside, the palette gives way to a range of vibrant hues that encompass every shade of green. But if you lose yourself in the color, you lose sight of the whole collection, how it marries both the sporty, streamlined menswear in shinning gray tones and the decadent eveningwear that's made Armani a favorite dresser among the Hollywood crowd. The collection doesn't cater definitively to either persona; it gives us both the modern suiting in a glossy, slick finish, then carries over that same contemporary confidence topping a sequined floor-length gown with a jacket tossed effortlessly across the shoulders.
- Trends: Pantsuits, texture, sequins.
- Colors: Every shade of green, citrus, slick gray, liquid silver, and black.
- Key Look: The liquid-silver strapless gown with the embellished jacket tossed nonchalantly over the top.
- Accessories: Swirl-shaped fascinators, handheld clutches, elbow-length gloves.
- Who Would Wear It: Awards-show A-listers; Cate Blanchett would rock this suiting.

Shop It Out: Covetable Shoes From The Hunger Games
Lucky magazine is one of our favorite sources for great shopping tips. We're thrilled to share this fabulous story on The Hunger Games costumes from our friends at Lucky!
When I first read The Hunger Games trilogy, I preferred to compare myself to story's brave heroine, Katniss Everdeen. But as much as I admire the resourceful tribute of District 12, I have way more in common with the image obsessed Capitol citizens. Let's be honest here: if similar events happened in New York City, you bet I'd be watching it go down on E! and loving every second of it.
It seems that the Panem masses and I also share another passion—a love of amazing shoes. Capital Couture, a fashion and gossip forum for the residents of the fictitious city, has a section dedicated to the footwear of well-heeled locals.
Although none of the shots provide shopping credits, I couldn't resist searching for these dreamy shoes in the real world. Some of the exact pieces are available online now and the ones that aren't have similar options available. Click through the slideshow below to get the looks for yourself.
Hot pink is an apt choice for attracting attention in the trend-obsessed Capital or, you know, next month's Fashion Week.

Inspired Style: Re-Create Cameron Diaz's Paris Fringe in Your City
Cameron Diaz has been strutting the sidewalks of Paris for Fashion Week, and we're certain that her all-black fringed Versace number turned more than a few heads. Want to have the same effect in your city, but can't afford Donatella's sexy creations? Just find a black fringed or macrame top, tuck it into a high-waisted miniskirt, and cinch it with a studded belt to mimic Cameron's studs. Then finish off the look with a pair of chunky black ankle boots, a collarless jacket, and a black clutch. If it's cold where you live, add black opaque tights to keep warm. Voila — you'll make heads spin even miles outside Europe's fashion capital.
