What a night! Last night's SAG Awards brought out a bevy of celebrities decked out in a range of vibrant hues, metallic finishes, and bold embellishments.

What a night! Last night's SAG Awards brought out a bevy of celebrities decked out in a range of vibrant hues, metallic finishes, and bold embellishments. Our best dressed nominees of the evening are: Zoe Saldana in a shimmery Givenchy gown, Jessica Chastain in electric blue Calvin Klein, and Angelina Jolie in a slinky black dress by Jenny Packham. Furthermore, Viola Davis, winner of the best female actor award for her role in The Help, glowed in an ethereal creation by Marchesa, and Michelle Williams stunned in her red lace Valentino number. A colorful, rainbow-inspired palette was no stranger to the SAG Awards' red carpet, and Hollywood's A-list starlets opted for a bevy of the most vibrant, striking kind. From warm fire engine red to shocking berry pink to serene Mediterranean blue, the gowns were jaw-dropping, not just for their artful cutouts and stunning owners, but for their playful, prismatic effect. If there's anything we learned, it's that these actresses can give the red-carpet hue a run for its money. Just look to Emily Blunt's diaphanous green Oscar de la Renta creation or Jessica Chastain's cool custom azure Calvin Klein column dress for proof that no color was too bold or too bright. From thigh-high slits to skin-baring cutouts, there was no shortage of sultry style at the SAG Awards. Sure, décolletage has its place on the red carpet, but tonight A-listers swapped lower necklines for more unexpected skin-revealing accents. While some, like Lea Michele in Versace, amped up the sex appeal by showing a little leg, others, like Kyra Sedgwick in a fiery Pucci and Jayma Mays in sparkly Reem Acra, turned up the statement power with cutout accents.
