Ralph Lauren Campaign Ads

Ralph Lauren has one of the most inspiring stories in the fashion industry. The designer, who grew up in the Bronx, started off his fashion adventure at an early age first working as a tie salesman at Brooks Brothers. In 1967, Lauren launched his own line of ties, then followed up with a complete menswear collection the year after. A few years after, Lauren introduced the world to his now iconic polo shirt with its signature horse rider emblem. Fast forward to present time, and the designer has since swept the world with his classic, effortless, beautiful American designs. In honor of Ralph Lauren's 73rd birthday, we compiled some of the brand's amazing ad campaigns — most of which were shot by Bruce Weber — showing us what true Americana really is.
