Gwen Stefani puts her rocker spin on red — we spotted the No Doubt singer sporting red not once, but twice this week. First, she tried a pair of bold red pants, which she toned down for day with neutral basics. She then spiced up an all-black number with a colorblock coat. Watch for all the outfit details, then let us know which look you like best. On Allison McNamara: Loft top, H&M necklace, Forever 21 skirt. Hair and makeup by Kasia Bohos.
If you're looking to cut loose on New Year's Eve, it might just be best to ditch the stilettos. Sure, party shoes have their place in our wardrobes, and we'll gladly smile through a little pain for a killer pair of heels; but, on NYE we won't let anything threaten a good time. If you're prone to achy heels and swollen toes, forgo the six-inch heels in favor of a pair that pull double duty. Inside, we've culled 12 of our favorites — from glittery flats to padded platforms, this batch is designed for comfort and style. Click through to find your own perfect dancing shoes for a happy (pain-free!) New Year's Eve.
At The X Factor's season two finale in LA last night, Khloé Kardashian matched this pleated leather Alexander McQueen skirt ($581, originally $1,660) with this sequin Carolina Herrera blouse ($2,290). Her menswear-inspired style was right on trend and we love the edgy touch of her neon Christian Louboutin pumps ($1,195). Shop Khloé's exact pieces or mimic her look on a budget with this bow-tie ASOS blouse ($56) and this faux leather Sparkle & Fade mini ($59) for an upcoming holiday soiree.
From the sand to the slopes to the street, our favorite style setters were out and about this week and sharing their stylish snaps through social media for us to enjoy. Doutzen Kroes got into some model misbehavior on the set, sneakily sitting in the photographer's chair when he wasn't looking (we think his name is Dan). Candice Swanepoel hit the beach in an oversize sun hat, while Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was in full snow-bunny mode in a ski suit and goggles. Hilary Rhoda showed off her signature silliness while dressing up as Santa Claus — perhaps one of her chicest looks yet.
Our fashion editors are obsessing over this crystal statement necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane. This showstopper is perfect for any night out and because of its versatile elements — it's an accessory must have! Watch this video to find out why the statement necklace is today's Daily Obsession. On Brandi: Rory Beca.
After spotting Ali Larter working a cool-girl outfit that is equal parts edgy and sweet, we can't wait to test-drive her new combo for our next outing. The actress stepped out in West Hollywood sporting a black quilted leather jacket with a black and white plaid miniskirt, black tights, and suede platform booties. But what we really appreciate here is the unexpected pop of color via her hot-pink sweater. It all comes together flawlessly, so if you love Ali's latest ensemble as much as we do, shop our picks below to get her look for day or night.
As the former J.Crew VP of womenswear design, it's safe to say Marissa Webb has a black belt in creating irresistibly chic and effortlessly cool pieces for the everyday woman. Last year, the designer branched out on her own to create her very own namesake line launching in Spring '13. Her debut collection features modern, streamlined silhouettes highlighting tailored blazers, fun sequined tops, zipper-embellished trousers, and a lot of leather. The latter features a range of refreshing silhouettes like Bermuda shorts and a leather skirt and tulle that's nothing short of channeling Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City. Meanwhile, a smattering of silk bow blouses and peplum details add a ladylike tilt to her cool-cum-classic collection. We spoke to Marissa about the inspiration behind her debut namesake collection, who she wants to see wearing it, and her favorite piece(s). Read below to see what she has to say, then click on to see her Spring '13 lookbook.
On which celebrity she would like to see wearing her new collection: "I have to admit I have a serious girl crush on Cate Blanchett. I honestly think she could pull off a burlap sac. I would be beyond thrilled to see her in a Marissa Webb item."
On the kind of woman she envisioned while designing her collection: "The woman I have in mind is confident, unique, and has a really great sense of her own personal style. I admire a strong, independent woman that also has a sense of humor about herself."
On the one piece from her collection she thinks every woman should own: "I think there's an item for everyone in this first collection. There are a number of leather styles that I personally love, like the Murphy leather tutu skirt. This item embodies both the soft and hard, the contrast that the Marissa Webb label is about. There are also many items that feel a bit more 'classic' that I think works well into any wardrobe."

After seeing Jessica Alba's latest look, it's clear we made the right choice crowning her our street-style star of 2012. The actress stepped out in LA working a colorful striped sweater, ripped Level 99 denim, and suede buckled ankle boots. As if her off-duty style wasn't cool enough, she then accessorized with a pink and orange Theodora & Callum scarf ($155), a yellow Longchamp tote, and purple ankle socks for extra flair. Re-create this punchy ensemble for a weekend getaway with a striped sweater, ripped jeans, and a few equally eye-catching add-ons.
