As if we really needed more reason to shop, Zara went ahead and kicked off its semiannual sale at midnight. We're certainly not complaining — this feels like a Christmas-come-early situation — and we're fully prepared to take on the covet-worthy discounted merchandise within. So much so, we've already gone ahead and done some scouting for you. That way, you can get in and get out (figuratively speaking) in record time. You know that Kate Moss-inspired colorblocked leopard overcoat you've had your eye on? Oh, it's under $200 now. Or, what about those cool-girl Western ankle boots? Yep, the price tag on those has been slashed. It's good news all around, but the best news by far is the chic wardrobe potential that lies ahead — at a fraction of the cost — so keep clicking.

Leave it to Jessica Alba to take something as simple and uneventful as shopping at Target and turn it into serious fashion fodder. The actress headed out to finish up some holiday shopping in a look that was the perfect example of laid-back edgy luxe. She started with a pair of star-print jeans, then layered up with a gray slouchy tee, cozy snood, and black open cardigan. The pièce de résistance of Jessica's look was undoubtedly her Simone studded leather jacket, which rounded out the biker-cool ensemble while still coming off as effortless and superchic. In a year that was filled with covetable shoes, Isabel Marant's wedge sneaker took the win for the It shoe of the year. It was a close call — Christian Louboutin came in a close second — but there was no denying the huge wedge sneaker craze that took over 2012. Right in line with the year's sporty trend, Marant's cool sneakers have been spotted on numerous celebrities (Marant's futuristic Bekett and girlier Bobby designs were the most popular) and fashion girls alike. And ringing in at about $640 for a pair, we weren't surprised to see a huge spawn of knockoffs — and neither was the designer. "I cannot say I'm surprised, because I worked a very long time to achieve it," said Marant. "It took a long time because when you have a wedge in the shoe it can be very bulky. When I finished it, I knew it was going to be a hit, and that it would be copied." We can't wait to see the new designs she has in store for us next year, but for now, click the slideshow to see the celebrities who donned Marant's ultracool sneakers in 2012.
While running errands around LA, Reese Witherspoon showed off the perfect office-chic look: a crisp white button-down blouse, topped with this Helmut Lang black sweater ($220) and black skinny jeans. For accessories, the actress chose trendy gold and black cap-toe pumps, her trusty new Bulgari tote, Ray-Ban Wayfarers, a gold watch, and diamond earrings. Mimic Reese's latest look for your next day at the office by matching a white blouse with a black sweater, then finishing off with black pants and cap-toe pumps.
