With New York Fashion Week, this week produced some amazingly inspiring ensembles to mimic for your everyday life. Everyone from Jessica Alba to Jessica Szohr to Whitney Port to Leighton Meester made front-row appearances in fabulous looks ranging from understated chic to all-out glam. With the weekend being so close you can taste it, let's draw inspiration from this week's best looks for all your upcoming activities, shall we?

Jessica Alba has been spotted in awesome colors and prints recently, but what we love most about her NYC outfits is her latest funky and furry accessory. Jessica's fur trapper hat gave her monochromatic look — which we paired with a striped cardigan and green tank — a whole new spin. With it, the actress proves that trapper hats can indeed be stylish and aren't only for the wild outdoors. A pop of color via her bright pink bag lent just the right amount of girlie flair, keeping the ensemble from looking too rough. Try a fur topper with a classic coat, skinny jeans, and a bright bag to re-create this Winter-chic look in your city.
If there's anything we can call ourselves experts on, it's red-carpet dresses (blowing our budgets on shoes is a close second). For Fall 2012, we saw a plethora of stunning dresses, and a select few we want to see on our favorite red-carpet celebs — Emma Stone, Rooney Mara, Michelle Williams, and Angelina Jolie, to name a few. New York Fashion Week wrapped up yesterday, and we're here today with a roundup of the top dresses from the Fall 2012 runways, complete with a rundown on who we want to see wearing them and why. Let us know who you want to see!
Are you following Fab on Instagram yet? If so, you've probably been keeping up with us throughout our Fashion Week adventures — and if you're not, what are you waiting for?
We may be waving goodbye to NYFW, but we'll always have these fun, filtered photos to look back on — we caught up with insiders like Olivia Palermo, Doutzen Kroes, and Coco Rocha, spotted legends like Bill Cunningham and Anna Wintour, and even had time to sneak in some sweet treats and coffee breaks between runway shows. In case you missed anything, we've rounded them up for you to check out now. Click through to see all of the snaps!
With New York Fashion Week, movie premieres, the Elle Style awards, and errands to run, this stylish mix of celebs brought their outfit A-game. Some went for flirty and fresh — Miranda's blend of pink-hued jeans and emerald-green Bulgari bag Down Under or Taylor Swift's heart-embellished Dolce & Gabbana chiffon dress and blue bag combo serve as ample evidence — some added sultry pops of color à la Alexa Chung's cool-girl red Asian-inspired robe jacket, and some poured on the red-carpet charm. The important thing to note here? There are insanely good styling tricks up for grabs. Click through to see this week's top 10.
Jenna Dewan is not one to shy away from color, as we noticed in her hot-pink Alice + Olivia trousers, and now the brunette beauty is showing us yet another way to rock colored denim. While landing at LAX airport with hubby Channing Tatum, Jenna styled her Joe's parakeet skinnies with a striped long-sleeve top, tan suede booties, and a black cardigan, then upped the cool factor with a fringe CC Skye hobo. Score this look by pairing bright-hued bottoms with a striped tee, black cardigan, and your favorite ankle booties at the airport and beyond.
Emma Stone stopped by the Calvin Klein show at New York Fashion Week clad in an all-red ensemble — Calvin Klein shell top and full skirt with Brian Atwood pumps — that's too fabulous and fiery to overlook. Although this would have been the perfect Valentine's Day outfit, you can just as easily re-create it for your next fancy affair, especially since you can do it for just $30. Just pick up a red sleeveless crew-neck tank and high-waist circle skirt from American Apparel, and pair it with your favorite red pumps — they don't necessarily need to be ankle-strap peep-toes. If a circle skirt is too demure for you, you can also work this look with a pencil skirt (perfect for work) or cropped red trousers, and even red jeans! The options are many, but the key is to keep the look all red or else it'll veer off from its monochromatic path.
Of all of the front row celebrity sightings at Fashion Week, there's one beauty who constantly impresses us with her refreshing front-row style: Olivia Palermo. If you read our site on a regular basis, you know we've long been smitten with her polished-cum-cool style and her ability to mix and match. With Fashion Weeks continuing from New York to London, each show is also a major stage for showing off great style off the runway — and Olivia nails it every time. With that in mind, we tracked down all of her NYFW and LFW looks to peruse and shop. Just click on for the style setter's inspiring style.
