Paula, Emma, and Kerry Wear White For Women in Hollywood: Who's Most Fab?

Lots of lovely ladies converged in Beverly Hills this afternoon for the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon, and three of our fashionable favorites opted for white-hot looks at the event.

Lots of lovely ladies converged in Beverly Hills this afternoon for the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon, and three of our fashionable favorites opted for white-hot looks at the event. Honoree Paula Patton walked the carpet in a sultry, body-conscious cap-sleeve Marchesa dress with metallic silver pumps and a sexy red pout. Emma Stone looked sweet in a full-skirted, white embroidered frock from Elie Saab's Spring 2012 Haute Couture collection, finishing the look with nude Brian Atwood pumps and a Ferragamo clutch, while Kerry Washington upped the ante on her Cushnie et Ochs peplum skirt suit by pairing it with bright red Brian Atwood heels and a colorful magazine clutch. Each of the actresses surely knows how to put a sexy spin on the little white dress — but whose look is most fab?

Item We Love: Kate Middleton's Cozy Shearling

Kate Middleton was spotted walking her new puppy, Lupo, outside; she dressed for the weather in a cozy short shearling jacket by LK Bennett, skinny jeans, Le Chameau boots, and a wool hat.

Kate Middleton was spotted walking her new puppy, Lupo, outside; she dressed for the weather in a cozy short shearling jacket by LK Bennett, skinny jeans, Le Chameau boots, and a wool hat. It's a great time to buy a shearling because Winter items will be on sale, and a good shearling coat is something you'll wear for years to come. We also dig her Le Chameau boots, which are utilitarian and timeless. Click our widget to shop Kate's casual look.

Go Bold With Our Latest Color Combo Crush — Orange and Blue

Barring Halloween and Syracuse fanfare, orange doesn't typically make our daily wardrobe palette rotation.

Barring Halloween and Syracuse fanfare, orange doesn't typically make our daily wardrobe palette rotation. But that's all about to change. Given designers' affinity for the bold hue for both Spring '12 and Fall '12, it's time we make a serious case for orange. We've pulled on-trend looks from the likes of Burberry, Victoria Beckham, and Milly to help us colorblock the season's It color with a cool contrast. Three words: orange and blue. Whether it be a sleek pumpkin-tinged overcoat worn with embellished royal blue pumps or a soon-to-be-released Marni for H&M orange-and-blue frock, there's more than a handful of chic ways to wear this brightly matched duo. Click through to see which Spring '12 runways featured it, which celebs are wearing it, and how you can translate this color combo into your own everyday look.

Sometimes You've Gotta Keep It Classic Like Zoe Saldana

We absolutely adore all the latest trends, from colored denim to florals to pastels, but Zoe Saldana's classic look that she wore while out in LA is a breath of fresh air.

We absolutely adore all the latest trends, from colored denim to florals to pastels, but Zoe Saldana's classic look that she wore while out in LA is a breath of fresh air. Sometimes you just want to forgo all the fluff and keep it simple. And on those days, follow Zoe by layering a timeless Lacoste trench over a chambray shirt and Genetic Denim ankle-zip skinnies then adding black suede booties and a leather tote. As you can see, this ensemble is super sleek and easy to re-create at home with your favorite khaki jacket, denim blouse, and black bottoms. Toss on a pair of ankle booties and aviators, like Zoe's Ray-Ban pair, to complete the classic, cool look.

Red Carpet to Real Life: Get Katy Perry's Aqua-and-Blue Look For Everyday

Leave it to the always-bubbly Katy Perry to coordinate her dress to her blue 'do.

Leave it to the always-bubbly Katy Perry to coordinate her dress to her blue 'do. During an LA appearance to promote her new line of false lashes, the singer rocked an aqua-and-blue colorblock frock from Roland Mouret's Spring 2012 collection that's part retro, part ladylike, and all scrumptious. If you adore this look but don't really have a fancy occasion coming up, you're in luck because we found this Aqua v-neck colorblock dress ($78) that gives off the same vibe but in a more everyday, approachable cut. All you need to do to make it more Katy Perry is throw on a bow belt, chunky platform sandals (hers are Guiseppe Zanotti), retro shades, and a Solange Azagury-Partridge hot lips ring like the one she accessorized with. Blue hairstyle is totally optional. To get the entire look, see the widget below for how we would style it.

In Love With . . . Miranda Kerr's Céline Tote

Miranda Kerr Celine Tote

Even in the realm of celebrity closets (however expansive they may be), there are the items our favorite style setters return to again and again. Case in point, Miranda Kerr and her staple Céline tote. We've spotted the trendsetting model out and about from LAX to NYC with her luxe carry-all in tow. Not that we can blame her; the investment piece (which runs about $1,095) completes practically any look with easy sophistication — and happens to be the perfect complement to Miranda's classic-cum-cool style. While the same Céline bag may not be within budget, Miranda's styling efforts certainly make a case for snagging something similar. Must Mimic: Minnie Driver Shows Us a New Way to Rock Motorcycle Boots

Motorcycle boots have been a hot trend for a while now, and those who own a pair know how hard it is to get rid of them.

Motorcycle boots have been a hot trend for a while now, and those who own a pair know how hard it is to get rid of them. They're super comfy and lend instant badass to every outfit. While out and about in London, Minnie Driver showed off a new way to rock the statement boot. Start with an equally statement-making Tucker coat — it doesn't have to be black and ivory, or even a diamond print, just as long as it stands out. We love this gray and black cocoon coat by Tracy Reese ($190, originally $475). Then rock black leather pants or jeans with sheen, an oatmeal long-sleeve tee, a cozy black scarf, and a black bag, like Minnie's ruched Prada, and, of course, finish your look with your edgy boots. Your top half will say chic chick, while your bottom half will scream badass babe. And that's a combination you can't mess with.
