Over 2,500 fashion-loving readers voted in this year's Oscars Best Dressed bracket, and the runaway winner is . . . Gwyneth Paltrow in Tom Ford! The statuesque stunner chose an elegant white gown with an asymmetric neckline, but the real statement-maker was her floor-length cape, which was draped over her shoulders. Gwyneth kept everything else simple, showing that restraint is often the key to a perfect look. In second place with her flirty Louis Vuitton gown is Michelle Williams, and rounding out third place is the lovely Penelope Cruz in Giorgio Armani, whose classic, ladylike look you loved. Watch Christian Dior's Entire Fall 2012 Runway
In a ode to girlish femininity, models glided down the catwalk at Christian Dior in jewel-embellished confections made from satin and chiffon. Ballet-slipper pink and pastel full-skirted silhouettes were cinched at the waist with thick belts and paired with peplum tops, giving this collection a whimsical, balletic feel that we love. And, of course, there was no shortage of floaty chiffon gowns fit for the red carpet. Watch to see the entire Christian Dior show now, and read our editor Marisa Tom's full review here.
FabSugar Diaries: The Instagram Highlights of Our Week
Here at Fab, we're a little Instagram-obsessed (following us yet?). One of the best parts of our job is heading out to events, getting a sneak peek of collections — and sometimes, just getting to hang around the office. Now, even if you don't have an iPhone handy, we're giving you a glimpse of what we like to think of as our FabSugar diary. This week, we got a preview of some seriously sweet denim, a taste of what's to come from Marni x H&M, and staged our very own in-office photo shoot. There's more in store, click on for a little behind-the-scenes with our favorite Instagram snaps of the week.
Jessica Alba Styles Up a Perfect Take on Pastel Pants in Paris
One trend that we are really looking forward to for Spring is pastel pants, and we spotted Jessica Alba rocking not one but two pairs of these while sightseeing in Paris! First, she wore a mint-green pair when she landed in the City of Light, and then selected a bright pink version for soaking up the beauty in the famed Jardin du Luxembourg. Since these pants definitely make a statement, we love that she tempers the bold color with a black coat and matching black ankle boots. Watch to see both outfits in today's Fab Flash. Sonia Rykiel Fall 2012
There's a perfect nonchalance and a decidedly sporty edge to Sonia Rykiel's Fall 2012. April Crichton's collection is an artful balance of menswear and feminine dressing — we're treated to both strong suiting that takes shape in double-breasted coats and boxier silhouettes before the looks soften into more femme territory. That's femme without the frills — even ruching or sheer fabrications appear easy, never overworked. Dresses skim curves, but don't hug — it's knitwear that gets the sexiest finish on pencil skirts and slim sweaters with a sweatband-style headband that calls to mind more literal definitions of sportswear.
- Trends: Menswear, pastels, knitwear, sheer.
- Colors: Black, peach, red, teal, white, nude.
- Key Look: The soft printed and ruched dresses are a pretty departure from the sharp suits; we're taken with Rykiel's sexier knitwear.
- Accessories: Ankle-strap platforms, boots, and ankle-crop booties finished in slick black patent; sporty headbands.
- Who Would Wear It: Girls who don't try too hard, like Kate Bosworth and Rachel Bilson; Kirsten Dunst would be a perfect fit for any of the line's pretty frocks.

Jessica Alba Takes Her Love of Bright-Colored Denim to Paris
Jessica Alba has been sporting an array of colored denim lately from yellow to neon green and now bright pink. While strolling the Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris, Jessica channeled her inner spunky girl by styling bright pink skinnies with a black coat and matching ankle boots. Her vibrant Loewe shoulder bag adds extra flair, as does the bright yellow striped sweater we chose for her. The gorgeous actress proves not only that bright colors can be fashion forward, but that there are also a variety of ways to inject them into your everyday style.
