Not since embarking on a decade-long adventure with Harry Potter have we felt so inspired by fantasy fiction, but today, the dystopian lit-sensation-cum-blockbuster-movie The Hunger Games hit theaters amidst high expectations and an overflow of excitement. From Katniss Everdeen's drab District 12 garb to Cinna's outlandishly cool getups, it should be a fashion sensory overload (in the best sense possible). Movie stills of Elizabeth Banks's colorful turn as the Mad Hatter-reminiscent Effie Trinket and Jennifer Lawrence looking absolutely stunning as "the girl on fire" prompted us to revisit some of the most beautiful, zany, and fashion-forward collections by Rodarte, Alexander McQueen, Iris Van Herpen, and Christian Dior for proper styling inspiration worthy of the Capitol's citizens, and befitting of a District denizen. Click through to get your Hunger Games fix — and let us know what designer you think should create an exclusive Games wardrobe.

Score a Piped Trench à la Supermodel Helena Christensen
A trench coat is a classic, it never goes out of style, but now it's being updated with a little bit of piping. Check out supermodel Helena Christensen strolling the street of NYC in her super-chic piped khaki trench. Without the black leather piping, it would have been classic sans pizazz. But the contrast on the lapel turns the traditional trench coat on its head, giving it more flavor. If you don't yet have a piped trench in your closet, consider getting one to wear all Spring and Summer. It'll top everything from solid bright frocks, like Helena's, to printed dresses, to jeans and tees, to a nighttime LBD. Sold? Shop our favorite piped trenches below.

Celeb Style: Beyoncé Pulls Off Printed Pants Like a Pro (You Can Too!)
With a handful of insanely-styled postbaby appearances, Beyoncé may just have solidified her place as one of the planet's most fashionable moms. This time she gives us a perfect take on Spring's printed-pants trend in a pair of Stella McCartney's tropical trousers from Resort 2012. The pattern's bold, but Beyoncé styles them with a silky black button-down that both tempers the print and lends an easiness to the whole look. We love that she accessorizes with a bright pair of pumps and a hot pink Bottega Veneta belt to complement the pant's brilliant hues, then finishes with a pair of cool-girl cat-eye shades. Tempted to try out your own printed pants? Shop our editors' picks to style up the same pair à la Beyoncé, or peruse our other options for a pair with a similar tropical print.

Mondo Guerra Takes Home the Project Runway All Stars Win — See All of His Runway Looks!
Last night's finale of Project Runway All Stars crowned talented and quirky designer Mondo Guerra as the winner of the show. The designer showed a six-piece collection, wowing the judges with his workmanship, knack for color, and mixing fabrics. So just what does Mondo have in store next? "I plan to stay in Denver as long as I can and do my own collection," Mondo told WWD. "I want it to be all about me just like [John] Galliano is all about Galliano. I was compared to him in season eight. Don't you remember? Michael Kors said so. I know it's a reality show, but I feel I have the chops to do it." As the winner, Mondo's prize includes a spread in Marie Claire magazine, a cash prize of $100,000 from L'Oréal Paris, and space to sell his fashion at Neiman Marcus stores across the US. Congratulations to Mondo for a well-deserved win! Click through the slideshow to see all of Mondo's amazing looks throughout the whole season, and tell us what you think in the comments section.
