Add Cobalt to Your Color Palette à la Kristen at the Kids' Choice Awards

Kristen Stewart stole the show on the Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet.

Kristen Stewart stole the show on the Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet. She worked her signature red-carpet silhouette — a short, fitted dress — in a cobalt lace Stella McCartney number from the Fall 2012 collection, which she wore with matching Barbara Bui pumps. While this loud monochrome look isn't ideal for every day, you can draw inspiration from it by adding pops of cobalt to your color palette. If you're color-shy, you don't have to wear it head to toe like Kristen did. You can sport one or two pieces, like a cobalt lace tee with cobalt flats, or a cobalt blazer to liven up an all-black ensemble. Shop our favorite cobalt pieces below to revitalize your wardrobe like Kristen did on the Kids' Choice Awards orange carpet.

Michelle Obama Slips Into Leather Leggings For the Kids' Choice Awards

Between singing along to "What Makes You Beautiful" and stepping out on stage with Taylor Swift, Michelle Obama pretty much solidified her status as the coolest mom on the planet at tonight's Kids' Choice Awards.

Between singing along to "What Makes You Beautiful" and stepping out on stage with Taylor Swift, Michelle Obama pretty much solidified her status as the coolest mom on the planet at tonight's Kids' Choice Awards. With daughters Malia and Sasha at her side, the first lady made a memorable appearance — and dressed the part in a pair of slick Helmut Lang bottoms that give the illusion of leather and a shimmering Wes Gordon silver jacket. We already knew our FLOTUS could dress, but this may just be the coolest kind of glam we've seen from Mrs. Obama. Check out her award-show ensemble and let us know what you think of the first lady's look.

The Crop-Top Trend Takes the Kids' Choice Awards Carpet: Love It or Leave It?

Not one but two midriff-baring tops — um, pardon the pun — cropped up on the orange carpet tonight.

Not one but two midriff-baring tops — um, pardon the pun — cropped up on the orange carpet tonight. Selena Gomez and Katy Perry both opted to bring Spring's crop-top trend from runway to real life at the Kids' Choice Awards. Selena Gomez channeled pin-up appeal in a Dolce & Gabbana bustier-style top and a high-waisted, embellished fit-and-flare miniskirt. She finished the look with an equally pretty (and on-trend!) pair of pink pointed-toe pumps and soft waves to complement the feminine vibe. Meanwhile, Katy Perry took on a bolder approach to outfitting the trend, selecting a neoprene bralette and coordinating print skirt and heels in the same electric hue. Each look boasts a similar silhouette but a totally different take on styling a crop top. Now we want to know what you think of them — how does the crop-top trend translate on the red carpet?
