This week brought out some of our fashion favorites in their perfectly polished day and evening looks. Emma Roberts and Mena Suvari put their personal spins on basic black while Karlie Kloss and Chanel Iman partied together in Cushnie et Ochs frocks. Jessica Alba and Elle Macpherson styled up laid-back Spring looks, and Solange Knowles went all out in shiny Ferragamo separates — the perfect standout party look, if you ask us. To celebrate the launch of the newest Crest 3D White Intensive Professional Effects Whitestrips and bring bright smiles to the runway at New York Fashion Week 2012, Crest 3D White Whitestrips partnered with Gen Art, an arts and entertainment organization dedicated to showcasing emerging talent, to give designers the standout moment of a lifetime with the Crest 3D White Little White Wardrobe Design Competition and presentation at Gen Art New Garde.
As part of the competition, emerging fashion designers were challenged to create a glamorous and radiant collection inspired by the must-have beauty accessory of Fashion Week, a beautiful smile! Fashion designers from across the country submitted their looks, but it was Wen Shi from New York City who outshined them all and was awarded the opportunity to showcase her capsule collection inspired by Crest 3D White Whitestrips and their newest product, Intensive Professional Effects, which whitens as well as a $500 professional laser treatment on the runway at Gen Art New Garde.
Are you as Instagram-addicted as we are? Great, then let's get down to our favorite filtered shots from one seriously fashion-filled week. We've rounded up select snaps (missed them the first time 'round? Be sure to follow us here!) to catch you up on our must-see Saturday through Friday moments. We hung out in Madewell's custom roadtrippin' Airstream, caught Solange Knowles's DJ set at the Ferragamo party, and, of course, made it to our final Coachella destination (and the fun's just begun). Click on for our favorite shots from the week.
Welcome to Friday, the end of the workweek, better known as the time when we round up the best-dressed celeb styles. This week saw some stellar fashions: flirty skirts, badass leather, all black, bright heels, and a few gorgeous color combos. The ladies who stood out, way out, were Reese Witherspoon, Charlize Theron, Ali Larter, Beyoncé, Karlie Kloss, Solange Knowles, and Chrissy Teigen. Step inside to see and draw inspiration from their spotlight-worthy outfits.
Michelle Trachtenberg stepped outside in LA sporting a camel Bec & Bridge military jacket and cobalt Henry & Belle skinny jeans, making a chic color combo we can't wait to try. Celebs everywhere are hopping on the colored-denim trend, but we particularly love how Michelle balanced her bold blue denim with a neutral jacket. The Gossip Girl polished the look with a pair of suede black pumps, oversize sunglasses, and a sky-blue Robinson bag, both by Tory Burch, then wrapped a geo-print Yarnz scarf for extra flair. This chic color combo is perfect any time of year, so see below to shop our camel and cobalt picks.
Gabrielle Union stopped by The Grove for her appearance on Extra and made quite the loud statement in her coral cropped Ann Taylor jacket, Karma El Khalil necklace, and Burak Uyan aqua platform sandals. At first we were taken by her fabulous topper, but then we looked down and saw her killer footwear and we couldn't stop staring. Statement sandals are a must in every girl's closet, especially during Spring and Summer when you can actually wear them. If you have money to spare, score Gabrielle's exact pair for $1,161, or if not, we've picked out a handful of other amazing bright sandals you can add to your mix. Step inside to see and shop them all.
Celebrities and sunglasses go together like Jennifer Aniston and rom-coms, and like the latter, sometimes the former have truly standout moments. Rihanna, Beyoncé, and Emma Roberts have had some truly bright sunglasses moments, sporting styles we cannot wait to get our hands on. Why do we love sunglasses so much? Because we can be in a sweatshirt and jeans, and when we don a hot pair of sunglasses our look is transformed into something way more glamourous. Click through to see some of the coolest styles we've seen lately, and don't miss our ultimate guide to the best styles.
While shopping in Beverly Hills, Emma Roberts incorporated the floral-denim trend into her mix via a pair of Joe's Jeans. Florals are huge in Hollywood right now, especially floral jeans, and we love the way Emma looked in her laid-back styling. Up top she wore a white tee and a bat-wing sweater, then complemented her get-up-and-go style with patent black flats, a Phillip Lim crossbody tote, and two-tone shades. Shop Emma's exact jeans now to pair with your Spring basics for a day of errands, or switch the cardigan and flats for a leather vest and strappy sandals to edge up your feminine florals at night.
The color purple has been in the mix of some of Hollywood's hottest closets lately. Everyone from Solange Knowles to Doutzen Kroes to Busy Philipps to Nina Garcia has been working the royal hue into outfits. Taking a cue from them, we should do the same for our daytime and nighttime ensembles. Step inside to get a closer look at five stylish celebs wearing the hue, then be sure to shop our favorite purple pieces for your own closet.
Through some fashion examination, we've noticed that Molly Sims is obsessed with pairing maxi dresses with blazers. On countless occasions, six to be exact, the actress has completed a colorful maxi with a black blazer. And she's smart for doing so because the contrast between the flowy frocks and structured jackets yields fabulous results. This combo is especially fitting for a party where you want to look a combination of laid-back and polished. Step inside to see how Molly has paired her maxis and blazers, then be sure to shop our favorite pieces to get the look.
