Madewell Fall Lookbook 2012

We got our first taste of Madewell's Fall 2012 back in April, but if ever there was a way to prove the cool factor in this collection, it's in Madewell's perfectly styled Fall lookbook. Mastering the art of effortless layers, girl-meets-boy appeal, and the style quirks of traditional Fall clothing turned on its head, Madewell offers up the season's essentials in bold hues, clever prints (like a leopard-print grandpa cardigan), and staple denim. It's the best kind of tomboy dressing — pastel tulip skirts paired with plaid button-downs and field boots — and a woodsier edge, thanks to cozy knit hats, lumberjack-inspired jackets, and cheeky wool sweaters. Read on for our must-have pieces, then click through to get a glimpse of the whole collection.

While promoting Snow White and the Huntsman in Berlin, Charlize Theron stepped out donning a leather-panel Rag & Bone top ($415) with a metallic knit Alexander Wang skirt and black-and-gold T-strap Giuseppe Zanotti sandals. In their worldly travels to debut the flick, Charlize and costar Kristen Stewart have been killing it with their red-carpet looks, from sheer black gowns to streamlined photocall ensembles. We are particularly smitten with Charlize's latest outfit because of its simplicity and ease. Score her exact Rag & Bone top to pair with a similar skirt and sandals to take you from work to happy hour, or pair it with skinny jeans for a more casual-cool approach.

See the Outlandish Crowns Mulberry, Lanvin, and More Designed for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee

We're excited to bring you the best fashion finds, shopping stories, and style news from one of our favorite sites, Fashionista.

We're excited to bring you the best fashion finds, shopping stories, and style news from one of our favorite sites, Fashionista. Today, they're giving us a look at the crowns designed for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.

Queen Elizabeth has long been considered a woman of many hats–and she’ll soon be adding many more to her burgeoning collection of (mainly pastel) headwear.

In honor of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, Harrods has tapped thirty-one of the biggest names in fashion–including Mulberry, Valentino, and Lanvin–to design revamped versions of the St. Edward’s Crown, the fancy-pants topper Elizabeth wore during her coronation way back in 1953.

And while there’s maybe a little too much crushed velvet for our taste, there’s also at least one fuzzy Jamiroquoi hat (Cavalli), one tiny Corgi (Paul Smith), two life size snakes (Bulgari and Boucheron), and what appears to be a crown made entirely of that caviar nail polish (Mulberry).

All the designs will be on display at Harrods in London starting today–but if, like us, you’ll be on the wrong side of the pond for all the jubilation, here are fourteen of the new crowns via Vogue UK. Cheers, m’dears.
