Little black dresses come in all sorts of silhouettes and styles, and with the endless possibilities, you can never have enough. A new one to add to your collection is the French Connection Nix Nights black dress ($268) Julianne Hough wore with Gio Diev's blue and white raffi pumps to her SiriusXM appearance in NYC. What makes this LBD so special? Let's start with the asymmetrical hemline — notice the longer hem in the back, which makes it party in front, demure in back. The white piping along the sleeves and tail make the dress pop even more, and finally, its square neckline gives it a classic look that will never go out of style. Dress it down with sandals and a denim jacket during the day, then dress it up with heels and tons of jewels at night.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z were spotted having a romantic date night in Paris, and you better believe the singer dressed for the part. She wore this red contrast-collar Dsquared blazer ($868, originally $1,240) with a white silk tank, black leather J Brand pants ($895), chain-strap sandals, a tiger-print Alexander McQueen clutch ($525), and of course her signature pair of funky flat-top sunglasses. As exemplified by Beyoncé, a red blazer is the best way to instantly jazz up any outfit, so either snag her exact one, or if that's too pricey, this red silk Joie blazer ($388) will work, too. Shop Beyoncé's Parisian date look, including her exact jacket, pants, and bag, below!
Just in time for bikini season, we came across Giejo, a new swimwear line created by Gabby Sabharwal. "The idea to create a swimsuit came about really as something that was initially just for me," said the supertalented 26-year-old, who also leads a double-duty life as a PR girl at BCBG Max Azria. "I was looking to purchase a new swimsuit for my upcoming vacation with my girlfriends. We were going to St. Thomas to celebrate my 25th birthday and of course I wanted to look fabulous." That said, Giejo — the name stems from a childhoood nickname — was born in Spring '11 and has already garnered a cult following from stylish girls looking for a unique twist on swimwear. When we say unique, we really mean it; Gabby uses deadstock textiles so only a certain amount of pieces can be made in a collection. In fact, Barneys loved her line so much that it asked Gabby to design an exclusive collection (available now in stores and online). Want to learn more about Gabby? Just read below for the 411, then click the slideshow to see her Summer '12 lookbook.
FabSugar: Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Gabby Sabharwal: Everyone in New York City. I could spend hours people watching. They are the real people wearing fashion. I always dreamed of moving to this city and I am grateful every day to wake up and experience what surrounds me.
FS: How would you describe the Giejo girl?
GS: The Giejo girl is me, but she is all of my girlfriends, too. She's fashion forward and wants to stand out. She is aware of the trends but is also price conscious, and she is a bit sick of hitting the sales. She wants an affordable line that is fashion forward and not mass market. She is a smart packer and smart shopper who is always on the go and trying to think of ways to simplify her wardrobe without sacrificing style.
FS: How do you balance being a designer and a BCBG PR girl?
GS: With a lot of organization and coffee! I work from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed! I usually wake up around 6 a.m. to start getting together the orders for Giejo, answer emails, run errands, pick up samples/fabric. Then, I'm in the office from 8:45 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Then, I go home to finish everything that I didn't get to during the day and start preparing for the next day. Every day there is a new challenge!
FS: Favorite food?
GS: French fries and ice cream.
FS: First memorable fashion purchase?
GS: For making national honor society in high school, my father bought me a Louis Vuitton purse — it was the one that everyone had — the mini wallet on a chain. I was obsessed!

Making clothes fashioned from animal skin is nothing new. But making clothes out of insect skin (the technical term would be exoskeletons)? That's not as common. So we were intrigued to learn that this couture turquoise chiffon gown created for Charlize Theron's evil Queen Ravena in Snow White and the Huntsman features ornate dung beetle detailing. You read that right: Dung beetles.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, costume designer Colleen Atwood was just trolling around Thailand searching for inspiration and "unique materials" when she came across mounds of the discarded iridescent shells at a flea market. Atwood, who won her last Oscar for her Alice in Wonderland costumes, told the Washington Post that it took 50 workers to sew literally thousands of beetle wings to the gown, which, in the end, only gets a few seconds of dimly-lit screen time.

Stripes are a classic Summer trend — they're crisp, clean, and can be outfitted to suit so many different occasions and styles. We spotted not one, but four celebrities out and about yesterday wearing striped tops, including Jessica Alba, Karolina Kurkova, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Ashley Greene. Watch today's Fab Flash to see how they put their own personal spin on this wardrobe staple. On Allison McNamara: Quiksilver Women top, House of Harlow 1960 necklace, JewelMint ring.
While exiting her NYC hotel, Jessica Alba showed off a new pair of pink printed pants by Australian label Mad Love. While we adore the actress in all her colored-denim outfits, we also appreciate that she's been taking a break to wear something a bit more funky, just like her star-print Current/Elliott jeans. Adding to her latest ensemble is this Jimmy Choo nude satchel ($1,225, originally $1,750), a black blazer, black scarf, white tee, and chunky black booties. Get Jessica's cool NYC look by shopping similar pieces, including her exact bag, below.
There's a new footwear trend and it's adding mega shine to the feet of Hollywood's most fashion-forward ladies. Silver mirrored shoes — pumps, boots, sandals, flats, sneakers — are showing up on everyone from model Dree Hemingway at the 2012 CFDA Awards to Alexa Chung at London Fashion Week to model Hanneli Mustaparta and many more. If you want your feet to shine like the stars, we recommend getting yourself some snazzy silver mirrored shoes.
Kirsten Dunst looked picture perfect in her checkered Eres monokini while on vacation at the St. Regis Punta Mita resort in Mexico. The classic checkered print and retro peek-a-boo cut is right on trend, as are her straw fedora and cat eye shades, which upped her glam factor. Work a one-piece version of Kirsten's Eres swimsuit ($535) for your next romp in the water or show a little skin with this Eres checkered bikini ($510). Whether you are traveling to a tropical destination or just hitting your local beach, any of these Eres swimsuits will be a huge hit.
