I've just returned from a whirlwind trip to paradise — also known as Bali — and while the memory is fresh, it's time to impart some packing tips and styling cues for your own Bali-bound adventures. The most important thing to remember: keep it light. With Bali's tropical climate, endless beaches, and lush forests and rice paddy fields, you'll want to ensure that you stay cool and comfortable while enjoying the gorgeous terrain. Opt for sportier slip-on espadrilles and flats over cute summery wedges because the unpaved roads can be unforgiving. Lightweight, natural fabrics (like worn-in cotton and linen) work best in the heat, and you'll benefit from keeping a chic cover-up or maxi dress on hand — especially if you find yourself in one of Bali's many sacred Hindu temples, where a little modesty is required. If you're all about surf, sand, and sun, then plan on practically living in your bikini. Translation: invest in a swimsuit you love and that can be worn again and again. Over the weekend, Jessica Biel made an all-white appearance at the 2012 Comic-Con in San Diego to promote her latest flick, Total Recall. For the occasion, she tucked a Joe's Jeans white t-shirt into a white leather Thierry Mugler pencil skirt with ruffle detail, but it was her pink Brian Atwood pumps that really captivated. Jessica proves that neon pumps can indeed be chic when paired with the right ensemble. To re-create Jessica's look for the office or your next fancy daytime lunch, throw on a white t-shirt, a white pencil skirt — it need not be leather — with her Brian Atwood pumps or these less-expensive Steve Madden hot-pink patent pair ($90). Then finish off with Anita Ko bangles.
Jessica Biel spent the weekend in San Diego with her Total Recall costars at Comic-Con and delivered a knockout look on the red carpet. Jessica went for a cream top and sleek white skirt combo, and we like how she mixed these two light shades together. Her Joe's Mya tee has a structural, peplum hem that creates a feminine shape and pairs well with her white Mugler pencil skirt. Jessica's Summer white look serves at the perfect canvas for some statement-making hot-pink shoes by Brian Atwood. Watch today's Fab Flash to hear more! We were more than surprised to see baseball caps popping up on the Spring 2012 runways; after all, they have a tendency to say "bad hair day" rather than "hot new fashion trend." It was a look we spotted in and around the tents on editors and style insiders, as well as on the catwalk at Karen Walker, Kenzo, and Alexandre Herchcovitch, who produced his pretty embellished caps with big-time hatmaker New Era. Whether you're repping your favorite team like Dree Hemingway, going absolutely old-school with logos, or sporting a cap with cool prints or patterns, there are a multitude of stylish caps that are perfect for pairing with jeans and dresses alike — not to mention a fun spin on Spring's sportif trend. Get some serious inspiration, plus shop 11 of our favorite fashionable baseball caps when you click through now.
You might have a drawer overstuffed with a million t-shirts or shelves cluttered with dozens of printed blouses, but when it comes to tops, less is more as long as you've stocked up where it counts. Sure, it's fun to take every trend for a test-drive, but with limited closet space, we've made it a point to eke out only the essentials — and if you do it right, you can get by with just 11 tops. We started with the traditional basics and made room for the necessary new additions, but inside, you'll find every blouse and tee you need to stock your closet from the workweek through the weekend, season after season. Consider this your guide to a foolproof top and t-shirt wardrobe.

As the weather heats up, celebs embrace sunny staples including flirty skirts, cutoff shorts, and resort-like espadrilles. Busy Philipps styled her two-tone Lanvin espadrilles with a bold tropical dress in Beverly Hills, Alexa Chung wore her classic espadrilles with a not-so-classic denim overall dress, and Krysten Ritter chose a pair by Aldo to complement her floral Dolce & Gabbana dress in Las Vegas. Espadrilles work well with everything from dresses and skirts to jeans and shorts, so see which other trendsetters have been rocking the Summer trend, then shop a few pairs for yourself.
Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio makes a living flaunting her killer body in the most fabulous bikinis, so it's no wonder that she even looked stunning off duty while frolicking on Malibu beach over the weekend. The model layered a sheer, fringe black cover-up over her tie-dye bikini, then added a cowboy hat, Westward Leaning shades ($165), and playful accessories, including a Jacquie Aiche horn necklace, to complete her beach style. Pair her exact sunglasses with a sexy black cover-up, tie-dye two-piece, and wicker hat to channel this effortless Summer look. Or work Alessandra's white cutoff shorts and matching shades for a more laid-back vibe.
Jessica Alba is definitely a style chameleon, but as of late, we've noticed that she's been sticking to one shoe in particular: Jenni Kayne's pointy d'Orsay flats. She has them in pink suede and chambray and has worn them on several occasions. First, Jessica sported her chambray pair with a peach blazer and skinny jeans while exiting her office in Santa Monica, then she donned them to a birthday party with a denim top and plaid skirt, and later she wore her pink suede pair with paisley pants and a matching scarf. Get a closer look at the actress in her various outfits, then shop her Jenni Kayne flats for yourself.
