Before getting into costume on the NYC set of Smash, Katharine McPhee showed off her cool street style in a black-and-white-striped maxi dress, topped with a blue leather jacket, and finished with these Gucci logo high-top sneakers ($614). The actress then wore black round sunglasses to shield her eyes and a pair of gold stud earrings. Re-create Katharine's ensemble when you're feeling sporty and classic at the same time.

Maria Sharapova takes the cover of Hamptons magazine this month and celebrated accordingly with a bash in NYC. For the soiree, Maria slipped into a red, laser-cut leather dress by Valentino (we want our own little red dress, stat!). Earlier in the day she launched her new candy line, Sugarpova, at Henri Bendel's and donned a cream sheath dress by David Koma with sparkly add-ons. Watch today's Fab Flash to hear more about the tennis-turned-style star's look! On Allison McNamara: H&M dress and necklace.
When we get right down to it, a lot of the favorite things in our closets were the guys' first. Pants, for starters, now blazers, oxfords, loafers, suits, and ties all originated with them before we came along and gave it our own spin. So, we're giving credit where credit is due — and looking once again to the fellas, who most recently inspired a few of our favorite Fall styles. That's right, this batch of street style is all about the men, well, kind of. We handpicked a few of the guys' most dapper looks, then culled styling tips to outfit the look for ourselves — think cool kicks, polished button-ups and bright blazers — to give our Fall wardrobe a menswear-inspired cool. The photos may be about the guys, but we promise, this shopping is all about you.
Fall is usually a time when we swap out our bright colors for a darker palette but before you start storing everything away, leave out your pink pieces. From dust, powder hues to bold neon, designers like Marc Jacobs, Jil Sander, and Bottega Veneta embraced the color as a new Fall staple adding a much welcomed jolt of color to our cold weather wardrobe. Try pairing tailored pink wool shorts with a blazer and booties for a tailored transitional look, or simply amp up your ladylike style in a printed pink shirtdress. Even if you're not traditionally a "pink girl," our editors' picks just might sway you the other way.

There are red dresses, then there are Valentino's red dresses that celebrities are obsessed with. Everyone from Maria Sharapova to Emma Watson to Kristen Bell to Claire Danes and many more have worn the design house's red-hot looks on the red carpet. They come in all sorts of sophisticated styles: leather, lace, scallops, bows, mini, midi, you name it. First find out who else loves Valentino's red dresses, then shop their dresses — including some exacts — for yourself.
Stepping up our Fall style relies quite literally on our seasonal footwear game — you'd never finish off a perfect Autumn look with espadrilles. Rightfully so, our Fall shoe selection deserves special attention to ensure that we're not only comfortably, appropriately attired — but stylishly so. This season, the silhouettes range from borrowed-from-the-boys "Beatle boots" — flat and easy, but with luxe updates like leopard-print or studs — Western-inspired everyday booties, and tougher, utilitarian wedges that would be just the thing to offset a minidress and tights. Your options are endless, but we're helping to narrow it down; inside you'll find only 16 of our favorites. The crème de la crème of this season's styles to give your Fall wardrobe a serious leg up.
