See Ashley Greene Light up the Carpet in Hot Pink!

Ashley Greene stole the night at the LA premiere of The Apparition last evening in a brilliant fuchsia gown.

Ashley Greene stole the night at the LA premiere of The Apparition last evening in a brilliant fuchsia gown. The Donna Karan Atelier number has a sweetheart-style necklace, cascading ruffles at the hip, and a sexy slit. Since Ashley tends to reach for shorter silhouettes — like fit-and-flares and sheath dresses — it was nice to see her go for a little drama in a floor-length gown. Watch today's Fab Flash to hear more! On Allison McNamara: T by Alexander Wang top, Topshop jacket, Blank NYC jeans.

Draw Inspiration From This Week's Celebrity Style Standouts!

This week's best-dressed celebrities ran the style gamut: there was a major orange crush, the perfect mix of sporty and classic, a sweet retro look, a chic-as-hell neutral outfit, and way more to love.

This week's best-dressed celebrities ran the style gamut: there was a major orange crush, the perfect mix of sporty and classic, a sweet retro look, a chic-as-hell neutral outfit, and way more to love. We particularly admired how Jessica Alba paired her Stylestalker floral tuxedo blazer with tuxedo-style Current/Elliott jeans, how Jaime King made us fall in love with orange for eveningwear, and that Eva Mendes made sure she stood out in her printed Thakoon dress. Other notables included Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, Jordana Brewster, and Katharine McPhee. Check them all out, find out why we chose them as top stars, then draw inspiration from their stylings for yourself.

"Queen of Layering" Jessica Alba Masters a Mint Top and Moto Vest

Jessica Alba's stylist Brad Goreski calls her the layering queen, so it's no surprise that she mastered the art even while spending time with her kids in LA.

Jessica Alba's stylist Brad Goreski calls her the layering queen, so it's no surprise that she mastered the art even while spending time with her kids in LA. The actress started with a mint-colored high-low sleeveless Rails blouse ($108), topped with a black leather motorcycle vest, and leather-paneled leggings by Kymerah ($130). She then threw on fabulous accessories to finish strong: caged wedge sandals by Surface to Air, a two-tone gray Tod's bag, a gold bar necklace, a silver cuff, and a couple of beaded bracelets. Layering is tough to achieve, but next time you want to take a stab at it, look to Jessica's latest ensemble. Remember to play with proportions, colors, and textures for a unique take.

We spotted style favorites like Diane Kruger and Eva Mendes making the most of their days in the sun with Summer classics like cutoffs, floppy hats, and printed wear-everywhere day dresses. In the way of eventwear, we get a lesson in ladylike dressing from Maria Sharapova, who charmed us with a collared mini and sweet pointed-toe pumps, and more from the likes of girl-crush Jordana Brewster and Jessica Chastain inside. The rest of the week's style stars are right this way.

Shop in Style: 3 Ways to Ace Your Fashion's Night Out Ensemble

While Fashion's Night Out certainly gives way to an evening of retail indulgence, that doesn't mean it's a walk in the park.

While Fashion's Night Out certainly gives way to an evening of retail indulgence, that doesn't mean it's a walk in the park. Translation: between the party hopping and navigating crowds, it's as much a night of fabulous fashion as it is a test of one's strategic styling. In an effort to minimize wardrobe stress, we've already mapped out three easy-to-emulate ensembles that cover all the FNO bases. If you're feeling Fall's oxblood-red obsession like we are, you're the perfect candidate for our sophisticated schoolgirl outfit. Plus, how slick (and cozy) do those printed calf-hair loafers look? If you're a denim loyalist, try on a coated iteration, complete with edgy zipper pulls and a crisp white finish. Don't stop there, though. We've got a little lace, a little paisley, and a little ankle-boot adoration, too. There's no time like the present to brainstorm outfit ideas — Sept. 6 is but a stone's throw away, so keep clicking.
