Kate Bosworth attended the Theyskens' Theory Spring 2013 collection at New York Fashion Week wearing a denim biker jacket with an abstract-printed blouse, which she tucked into a pair of sporty off-white shorts. She kept her accessories to a minimum: a gray satchel, which she wore on her shoulder, and black pointy pumps. Whether or not you're attending Fashion Week, mimic Kate's front-row ensemble by investing in this similar Silence & Noise denim biker jacket ($79) and sporting it with your printed blouses and short shorts.

If the schoolgirl got a makeover from her artsy friend, we're betting she'd look a lot like the models in Chris Benz's Spring lineup — outfitted with sweet prints, quirky layers, and a bright Cambridge satchel in hand. This season, the designer takes on bold color and print with his always-present styling whimsy: it's pretty, but not without a little of the subversive edge that sets Benz apart. Preppy staples, right down to the accessories, like "book bags" and flat-form brogues, are turned on their heads: suiting is finished in brilliant marigold-yellows and pops of print on print (on print). But it's not just the color scheme or the perky prints; the styling here may be the most eye-catching in Benz's bag of tricks, with girlie skirts, tops, and dresses layering up to create a girlie-gone-grunge effect. You have to make a conscious effort to deconstruct each ensemble, realizing that each piece, be it a floral jacket, CB's new denim, or a printed pencil skirt, would be as much of a standout in its own right.
- Trends: Quirky layers, bold prints, loose trousers.
- Colors: White, brown, black, yellow, bright orange, pops of blue and mint green, lavender, and gray.
- Key Piece: The sunny yellow suiting; we especially loved the new colorblocked Cambridge satchels.
- Accessories: Colored and printed t-strap heels, menswear-inspired flatforms; Chris Benz x Cambridge Satchel Company bags.
- Who Should Wear It: Kate Bosworth would look gorgeous in the white lace top paired with the full white skirt; we'd love to see Solange Knowles rock those printed shorts and blazers.
Beyoncé looked picture-perfect in St. Barts carrying baby Blue Ivy and working a pair of silky floral Gucci trousers ($1,850). The singer has been sporting a slew of printed pants — like this leopard pair — from coast to coast, and her latest pair is perfect for Fall. The singer styled her bold bottoms with a silky white top, half-frame sunglasses, and a bevy of mixed-metal accessories, including Cartier's love bracelet. Score her exact trousers to style with a white blouse and sandals for a day at the beach or dress them up for a night out with this black bandage top by Guess ($100, originally $138).
In a total departure from her sexy, menswear-inspired Fall collection, Donna Karan went soft and ethereal for Spring 2013, showing a collection of draped dresses and softly tailored jackets in a gorgeous array of rosy pinks, mustard yellow, icy blue, and seafoam green. '90s grunge might be one thing we weren't expecting from Phillip Lim's Spring 2013 collection, which is why it was that much cooler. Everything you Generation X and Y'ers loved — all things plaid, slouchy pants and crop tops, denim — was "recut" by Lim to feel modern, a little bit rebellious, but taken in pieces, totally chic. Winning the totally chic test were his fitted moto jackets done in corded silk and pretty floral prints. Check out all the pictures from the 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2013 collection, and come back soon for our full review.
Olivier Theyskens fused the working woman with the girlie girl at today's Spring 2013 Theyskens' Theory runway show. The collection was full of boxy jackets, slouchy pants, and lots of leather — all done in a subversive color palette of black, white, and pale blue. See the full collection when you watch now.
Nina Dobrev touched down in Toronto working a dramatic and eye-catching travel look: a yellow floral maxi skirt with a sexy slit and two-tone ankle-strap sandals, both by Rachel Zoe. The actress balanced her bold-print skirt with a black tank, retro shades, and a beige chain-accented Jimmy Choo leather bag ($1,795). Re-create Nina's eye-catching style with a colorful floral maxi, a black tank, and ankle-strap sandals for a day of errands, or show off your gorgeous gams with high-heeled sandals or booties for a head-turning night out with the girls.
Heidi Klum looked cool and relaxed in a white tee and denim cutoffs over the weekend, but her neon pink high-top sneakers jolted her entire ensemble. The model wore aviator sunglasses to shield her eyes from the bright day and a brown belt to cinch her bottoms. A celeb-favorite pinky ring and gold necklace completed Heidi's LA ensemble. Next time you throw on your denim cutoffs and tee, add major spunk to your feet via these bright pink sneakers from Asos ($42, originally $61).
Kate Hudson and her sexy legs made an appearance at the Toronto Film Festival in a little black Emilio Pucci dress with a dramatic thigh-high slit! To give her fancy dress even more flair, Kate wrapped herself in a blue printed scarf and jazzed up her feet via green peep-toe pumps. A matching Graziela emerald ring ($480) and Dana Rebecca earrings coordinated perfectly. Re-create Kate's sassy look for your next fabulous evening out by wearing a black dress with a dramatic slit with a printed scarf and bright pumps. To get her look, shop similar pieces below.
Maria Sharapova's travel style bloomed when the tennis star wore loose-fitting floral pants on her way out of LAX airport. We love how she kept the rest of her outfit simple so as to not interfere with her bottoms. Up top she wore a gray tee, on bottom Barneys New York colorblock ballet flats ($225), and on her arm a tan satchel. Tortoiseshell sunglasses shielded her eyes stylishly. Re-create Maria's latest look with a pair of baggy floral pants by shopping similar pieces below. Then for a nighttime affair, swap the flats for heels and throw on a rhinestone bib necklace.
