The New Twofer: Would You Carry Your Tote as a Clutch?
If there's any surefire way to pinpoint the birth (or resurgence) of a cool-girl fashion trend, it's when we spot it on countless street stylers and A-listers alike. So, what's the latest styling cue on our radar? Totes and shoulder bags being carried as oversize clutches. We've seen everything from a classic quilted Chanel bag to a must-have Proenza Schouler iteration being turned into handheld staples. Why do we love it so much? It's a quick way to punch up an outfit, it adds more versatility to your bag's shelf life, and it offers up a different approach to statement arm candy. While this twofer craze may have started with medium-sized fare (look to Joanna Hillman, at far right, for edgier proof), leave it to Victoria Beckham to supersize the look. On a recent London outing, Victoria turned out one of her most dramatic tote-to-clutch moments yet. You couldn't miss her carrying her oversize colorblock Victoria Beckham bag — as a clutch — in London. And we have a feeling this won't be the last time she takes the look for a spin. In fact, here she is working the look on another recent occasion. With a stylish crew behind the twofer look, we turn it over to you now: would you carry your tote as a clutch?

Red Alert! Taylor Swift Goes Crimson in Paris
Taylor Swift's red streak continues! The country star is in Europe for several awards shows and performances, and for her latest appearance, she — once again — reached for her go-to color: red, which is also the name of her newest album. Taylor opted for a red coat while soaking in the sights in the City of Light, and for her intimate performance, she punctuated an all-black outfit with a cool red guitar. Click "play" to see all the details in today's Fab Flash. On Allison McNamara: Topshop top, Zara skirt. Hair and makeup by Kasia Bohos.

The Street-Styled Proof That a Little Color Goes a Long Way
In a pretty modest salute to the season, this styler makes use of tweedy texture and a two-toned color palette to draw us in — and it worked like a charm. Thanks to a sophisticated topper and cool-girl Winter add-ons, she has our undivided attention (and may just inspire a few copycats). She keeps her silhouette simple, but hones in on a rich seasonal color contrast with shades of hunter green and burgundy, then reiterates the hues again with fashionable — and functional — accessories, like a great infinity scarf, tote, and a fedora to top it all off. No bells, whistles, or tricks here; just classical pieces, thoughtfully thrown together. Shop the head-to-toe look right here.

Shop clockwise from top left: Barbour Olive Wide Brim Fedora ($66, originally $95), Nine West Women's Rib Infinity Scarf ($46, originally $58), Max Studio Long Leather Gloves ($98), Cheap Monday High Waisted Skinny Jeans ($74), Tommy Hilfiger Tabitha Booties ($70, originally $129), Alexander Wang Emile Tote ($995), Vanessa Bruno Bordeaux Multi-Colored Long Wool Coat ($452, originally $905)

The Must-See Moments From Couture Fashion Week
Couture Fashion Week is about pulling out all of the over-the-top, decadent, head-turning stops. Rife with delicate floral applique, jaw-dropping embellishment, and saturated color, designers' Spring '13 offerings did just that. The trend report points toward all things floral and feminine, as exemplified by Giambattista Valli's decadent array of beading and embellishment, Chanel's secret garden theme highlighting beautiful floral appliqués, and Raf Simons's botanical dream for Christian Dior. With swaths of silk, tulle, and guipure lace floating down the runway, we can't help but fall hopelessly in love with the likes of Valentino, Elie Saab, and a gilded Zuhair Murad collection. Though, as the lineups from Atelier Verace, Armani Privé, and Jean Paul Gaultier prove, there's sleeker, sexier fare in store here as well. The Battle of the Little Lace Dress: Zooey Deschanel vs. Hannah Simone
New Girl stars Zooey Deschanel and Hannah Simone, who play Jess and Cece respectively, couldn't be more different on the small screen, but last night, they were certainly on the same fashion wavelength. Both actresses worked little lace dresses at a Glamour party in West Hollywood, but that's where the styling similarities stopped. Herein find your latest battle of the chicest: Zooey stayed true to her ladylike-retro style by donning a fit-and-flair emerald lace Monique Lhuillier dress with black tights, suede pumps, and a vibrant orange manicure. Meanwhile, Hannah chose a fitted navy number with black lace overlay and patent pumps. Which New Girl starlet gets your vote for best little lace dress?
