I have a problem: my closet is bursting at the seams and I'm running out of storage ideas. Luckily, a fellow clothes hoarder suggested I swap out my bulky wood and plastic hangers for these Joy Mangano Huggable Hangers, in silver/gray. Not only are they magically slip-proof, but they're super slim as well. In fact, my friend told me it will maximize my closet space — double time! Case closed.

I bought them in 25 packs at Costco and did my husbands and my closets for about $150-- best investment ever. Great for travel too, putting stuff in garment bags. We are moving next month and everything will be so much safer to move with these too because the clothes don't slip off and it's so easy to grab 10-12 pieces at a time. If I were Oprah this would be one of my Favorite Things.

I have these in black, teal and pink and they are great - got them at Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. My closet is still stuffed but they def. helped slim down my closet. Don't know how I survived w/o them for so long!

I just redid my entire closet with slim velvet hangars. They are usually $40/50 at Bed Bath and Beyond but right now they have the box of 50 for $15 at Costco! I bought 6 boxes of them and my closet it SO MUCH better! Plus you can buy clips that attach to make them great for skirts, tube dresses etc.

I have these in teal and love them! Nothing falls off and having all matching hangers really makes a difference when I open my closet doors. It looks much more put-together.
