eBay is fighting for a piece of the holiday pie with the announcement of yet another exclusive designer holiday collection with seven clothing and accessory designers: Tibi, Chris Benz, Fallon, Jonathan Adler, Ruffian, Steven Alan, and Billy Reid. Given, eBay's Holiday collective line won't be as big as Target's recent huge collaboration news, but the collection will have a leg up on an earlier launch date: Nov. 12. Similar to the Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday collaboration, each designer participating in the eBay Holiday Collective will create at least five items from women's and men's clothing, jewelry, travel and electronics accessories, and home decor. Price points will range from $50 to $100, and the collection will be available worldwide online at eBay's Fashion Vault. Are you excited?

Rebecca Minkoff Dishes on Her Holiday Wish List, Being "Banned" From Using the Phone at Home, and More
In time for the holiday shopping season, Rebecca Minkoff just released her stylish tech-savvy collection of affordable tech accessories exclusively for eBay. Psst, don't forget to leave a comment here to win your very own Rebecca Minkoff lux iPad case. After all, everyone needs a snazzy case to go with their awesome gadgets. Last night at the launch party — which included cute free manis and pedis — the designer chatted with us about being addicted to her tech gadgets, her holiday wish list, and partywear dressing tips. The proud new mommy even showed us cute pictures of her adorable son Luca — aww!

FabSugar: Your tech accessories line shows signature "Rebecca Minkoff" style. How would you describe the girl that wears your collection?
Rebecca Minkoff: We call her the "downtown romantic." She likes to be noticed for her style and her bag, but not because of the logo. When I talk to my customers, they love that they're getting stopped for the style of their bag, or their shoe and apparel, not because of some particular name.
FS: These pieces are great for holiday gifting. Speaking of presents, what's on your wish list this year?
RM: A dining room table. We're slowly renovating our apartment since we made a room for the baby, which previously didn't exist. Something modern, maybe midcentury? That's always good.
FS: What do you love to give your friends during the holidays?
RM: I love to give people things from my line, because it's usually my friends who come to me saying, "I need a new bag for my wife, help!"

May the Force Help You Win eBay's Star Wars Car Auction
Every two seconds a Star Wars item is searched for and sold on eBay, according to the website. That's a huge number for a company that sells everything from vintage clothes to electronic components. In celebration of the franchise's staggering popularity and this Friday's release of the entire saga on Blu-ray, eBay introduced a dedicated Star Wars landing page on eBay featuring daily trivia, quizzes, and snapshots of Star Wars sales currently on the site.
Capitalizing for a cause, from Sept. 16 through Sept. 23, eBay will partner with Lucasfilm on a Star Wars charity auction with all proceeds benefiting the Stand Up For Cancer charity. Slated for the auction block are rare movie memorabilia including a Star Wars-edition 2012 Volkswagen Passat and a pair of sold-out VIP tickets to Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando. Yes, that makes buying a Star Wars-themed car not just another piece of your sci-fi collection, but also a good deed!

My 5 Essential Tech Tools For Relocating
Moving can be such a hassle, but it doesn't have to be painful. Over the course of the last month, as my apartment hunt has gone into full swing, I've discovered that these five tech tools can be a lifesaver when it comes to saving up, budgeting, selling off my unused items, and even taking a virtual tour of apartments from miles away. Check out my most-used digital tools, then share with us the apps and sites you have used to help you move!
- PadMapper — Recently recommended to me by a co-worker, PadMapper has helped me save lots of time by aggregating more available units (via Craigslist, Apartments.com, and other rental agencies), and placing them on a Google Map for easy location browsing.
- Ustream — My husband and I couldn't make an open house at the same time, so he streamed the apartment tour on Ustream so I could see it in real time. The best part is, I could comment via the chat feature to ask questions and hear the conversations as if I were really there.
- Ebay For iPhone — Since we're moving to a smaller place, some of our precious gadgets and gizmos have to go. Instead of dealing with the hassle of negotiation and no-shows on Craigslist, we started selling some of our goods on Ebay. The app has streamlined our process, since you can upload pics from your iPhone and list your item right on your mobile device. Plus, you can check on the status of your items and get alerts when someone has bid or bought instantly.
See the rest of the list after the jump.
