Avril Lavigne Just Won Girlfriend Day With Her Jaw-Dropping Ring

We don't know what your significant other has planned for National Girlfriend Day, but we're betting Avril Lavigne's husband just topped whatever it was. While scrolling through our Twitter feed we were temporarily blinded by the new bling the pop star's sporting — a 17-carat diamond she received as an anniversary gift from her husband, Nickelback's Chad Kroeger. Avril Tweeted the stunner with the caption, "I still can't believe my 1 year anniversary gift. 17 carat emerald cut. Wow. I love my hubby." Um, if this is just the first anniversary, Chad just set a very high bar for every year after.
