What better way to get the celebration going than with a festive Proenza Schouler dress? "I love Jack and Lazaro as people, and I adore their work. They very kindly custom made this dress for me, and I knew it would be perfect for the first night," she told Martha Stewart Weddings.

Her embroidered lace Chloé number was a fairy tale fit for the couple's Ranch at Rock Creek hoedown. Of the choice, she told Martha Stewart Weddings, "I have a close relationship with the brand, and they allowed me to take a look through their archives . . . The tiny cape around my shoulders was the perfect touch for a Montana evening."

A 16-foot-long train on her Oscar de la Renta gown ensured Kate was as captivating as her wedding's mountain setting. "I wanted to feel like I had wrapped myself in Oscar's beautiful fabrics and stepped forward, the spool continuing to unravel as I moved," she told the magazine.

After wearing Oscar de la Renta's ballgown down the aisle, Kate made a quick swap while sticking to the designer. With her party look's delicate crystal embroidery, it's no wonder that the bride was "deeply in love with both of the dresses."
