Prada is always about drama, but these resort ads threw me for a turn. For a collection full of pastels, floral prints and 50s-inspired full skirts, the dark, haunting aura of the black background is quite the stark contrast. Prada accessories ads are always some of my favorites, and these are no exception.

4DC Star, that is a very interesting comment and I see where you're coming from...there's a female artist who does an installation art work of stacks and stacks of suitcases and bags to symbolize the loss brought on by the Holocaust, and although it is not as neatly ordered and stacked like the bags in this ad, they definitely have an eerie similarity.

gemma was the original and the one that popularized it.
the rest are all imitations.
i like sasha looks different from Gemma.. her look is a little more edgy.
9anyway, i love her outfit in this picture!
yes, the stacked up bags in the background somehow looks creepy
