For her first major ad campaign since relaunching her label a decade ago, Diane von Furstenberg wanted something special.
She hand-picked French artist François-Marie Banier to photograph Natalia Vodianova on the streets of Paris on a rainy day, and then in a Manhattan studio. They went for a carefree approach: no fashion stylist, no hair stylist, no make-up artist — just Natalia picking out her own clothes and flaunting them as she knows best.
