On any other red, or gold, carpet, it wouldn't be appropriate to wear sneakers, but since it's MTV, it works. I couldn't help but notice that this week on Fab, there was an unintentional fusion of light and dark. And I don't necessarily mean colors. While this powerful Zara ad illuminated the room with a dramatic white candelabra, Natalia Vodianova darkened it with her glass-lickin' good Vogue Italia editorial. Ouch! Editorial photos were quite gloomy, with Lily Donaldson and Gemma Ward abandoned in the wind, and Mona Johannesson posing amid vacant houses. The week ended on an upward note, though, with Kirsty Hume striking a pose at the Chanel party I attended.
