Cate Blanchett sure looked different from her Indiana Jones character at the premiere at Cannes Film Festival. In fact, she radiated in her Armani Privé tiered gown. It goes without saying that I appreciate Cate's ability to effortlessly throw on a beaded Chopard necklace over a fancy frock. Do you appreciate this look?
Net-A-Porter has just announced their US sale extravaganza. Here's your chance to save some major cash on some haute runway items marked up to 50 percent off. Wouldn't this fuchsia Tracy Reese Printed Blouse ($100, originally $200) be perfect for a summertime BBQ? Net-A-Porter + sale = yay!
I always look forward to seeing veteran models on the red carpet, especially when they have enviably effortless style. Amber Valetta attended Fashion For Life 2008 in a strapless metallic bronze dress, accessorized with a gold box clutch, strappy sandals, and bangles. It's an unfussy and elegant look that can easily be imitated even in a different color palette.

Calista Flockhart was glowing as she stood next to her beau, Harrison Ford, at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. Her silky blue, one-shouldered gown enhanced her beautiful, graceful stature and j'adore the bold splashes of black. What do you think of Calista's red-carpet look?
In the June/July double issue of Interview magazine, a modern-day marvel imitates a pop culture legend.
Marc Jacobs appears on the cover of the magazine, which is an ode to the pop artist whose 80th birthday would have been in August. With a platinum wig atop his head, the fashion designer is being compared to the eccentric artist; they both cross bred art and commerce, they have a knack for creating playground-like retail stores and look to other artists for inspiration and collaboration. When asked of the comparison Marc stated "I don't think of myself that way," he said. "Warhol is Warhol. He's practically a god. I thought, 'I'm going to get a lot of hell for this.'"
Whether he gets flak for the cover or not, the photo — the work of Mikael Jansson — will also imprint T-shirts and tote bags to display in the windows of the designer's Bleecker Street store. And it all comes full circle: Proceeds from the Marc/Warhol garb will benefit the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
I'm all for things floaty and colorful, but something about this Lacey Parker One Shoulder Ruffle Cami ($245) doesn't sit quite right with me. Maybe it's the odd splashes of color or maybe it's the material, but I'm not convinced. Are you?
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
