In last night's episode, prior to the drama with the photo shoot, Blair and Serena went on a mini shopping spree. Well, not so mini considering the shopping bags they're toting. Serena chose to go casual in her grey skinny Wrangler jeans, BCBG denim vest and Gucci Indy bag. As usual, Blair was dressed up in a Milly dress, black tights and oxford pumps.
This is one of my favorite Blair looks so far because she looks polished and a tad androgynous. Though sometimes she overdoes it with the tights, they go really well with this outfit. If you'd like to go shopping and look this chic, get her look below.
Rebecca and Maria have more in common than I would have thought; style-wise, anyway. They both chose metallic Lhuillier gowns paired with black open-toed shoes. But the similarities end there: Rebecca went the LBD route with full tulle skirt and keyhole top, while Maria chose a pewter high-necked, more fitted option. I'm leaning more towards Maria's ensemble — what about you?
LBDs ruled the carpet at Monique Lhullier's LA store opening last night. The always-gorgeous Dita Von Teese went the glam route (surprise, surprise!) in a ruffled silk Lhuillier LBD. Maggie Grace went for a sharper look in a one-shoulder LBD. I prefer Dita's look because she spices it up with red nail polish and red lips. Who gets your vote?
When I saw these PYTs in lovely Monique Lhuillier frocks for the LA store opening I had to have them battle it out! Lhuillier is both a red carpet and party favorite, so we see her creations a lot — but I never seem to tire of it. These looks, as modeled by Kate Mara and Kristen Bell, are pretty different but both have some asymmetrical detailing going on. Which is your fave?!
Eva looks devilishly good in Zac Posen, which she wore for an appearance on Letterman last night to promote her new movie We Own the Night. The dress hugs her in all the right places (although maybe a bit too much around the hips?), and the copper-tone pumps set off her warm complexion perfectly. Viva la Eva!
Is it me or was last night's episode of Gossip Girl the best so far?! There was a big emphasis on fashion, with Blair's mother's photo shoot, and Blair and Serena were giddy girlfriends again. Oh to be young and rich! While I wasn't really feeling the poker game scandal with the boys, I did get a kick out of Chuck's basketball getup. The final scene where the girls steal the mom's clothes to get back at her un-motherly conduct then they go and do their own photo shoot around NYC was a fun little montage. Nicky Hilton was spotted leaving The Ivy restaurant after a day of shopping with sister Paris. Her casual yet stylish outfit, which consisted of skinny jeans, tall black boots and an Alice + Olivia military blazer, was perfect for the occasion.
