This week, with the exception of some amazing inaugural looks, celebs kicked it in an abundance of casual garb. East Coasters got cozy in coats while West Coast peeps sported flirty frocks and tees. Were you paying attention to their ensembles? Take my quiz and find out!

Sniff, sniff. Maneater Threads is going under. In order to get rid of stock, it's holding a going out of business sale. Get 50 to 80 percent off designer duds by Laila Azhar, Mike & Chris, Juliana Jabour, and more.
I'm kind of loving this Mike & Chris Wellington Wool Jacket ($185, originally $370). It's chic in a military sort of way. There are lots more unique pieces to be had, including some jewelry, so hurry up before they close shop.

Thanks to Belgian designer Ann Demeulemeester's slick portrayal of black and white stripes, I'm a fan. This Vintage Puff Sleeve Black and White Stripe Blouse, size small/medium, reminds me of a striped Demeulemeester blazer I own. It's a fine piece for those who want to fuse rock 'n roll with a French aesthetic, along with some old-school sophistication. Top it off with a shrunken vest and roll up the sleeves for a less buttoned-up look.
The current bidding price is at $9.99 and the auction ends on Monday, Jan. 26. Good luck and happy bidding!
Demi's always polished. And seriously — the woman looks better than ever. This week was a whirlwind with the Inauguration and the Sundance Film Festival so we had continuous style stimulation. But sometimes an LBD rules all. Demi looked excellent at MTV's Ball in her strapless, ruffled Donna Karan frock. The wavy bodice and skirt detail are what really make this dress standout; it's such a lively formal option. Talk about a modern classic. Her long brunette locks look fabulously laid back, but her Cartier diamonds keep things black tie. Satin black platform pumps keep things grounded, while her handsome partner in crime continues to be her mancessory of choice.

What does Babakul mean you ask? Any French speakers in the house? Babakul means "hippie" in the language of love and the designer is Kym Gold, the former co-owner/co-founder of True Religion Jeans. The Spring/Summer collection consists of trousers, lightweight denim, and vests, with a major Woodstock flavor.
“At the inception of Babakul, there was an overwhelming demand for me to only offer denim. However, it is more imperative for me to create a foundation for every woman’s wardrobe that encompasses the same amount of versatility and comfort, yet exudes a new level of freshness,” shares Kym Gold.
Babakul is sold at Neimans, Ron Herman, Fred Segal, Scoop, and more. And prices range from $160-$190. I smell the next big denim brand . . .
