Zac Posen, Alexander Wang, and others are designing tees and totes in support of Barack Obama's upcoming presidential inauguration. “This is the most exciting political moment of my lifetime,” said Zac Posen, who designed this cool charcoal gray burnout tee. Not only are these items a fresh way to show off patriotism, you'll feel good knowing proceeds go toward the inauguration costs. Other brands participating in Runway to Change are Tory Burch, Narciso Rodriguez, Donna Karan, Derek Lam, Rachel Roy, Gerald Matthews, and House of Dereon. Tees and totes range from $45 to $70 and are available at pic2009.inauguralcollectibles.com.
Sarah Jessica Parker lit up the room during her hosting responsibilities with Matt Dillon. She nailed plaid in her strapless tartan vintage '80s Emanuel Ungaro dress. But this isn't any old dress; it has mad ruching and a huge bow in the back. Never one to shy away from sparkle, the actress accessorized with a glittering choker, a gold bracelet, and diamond earrings. Plaid to perfection. Speaking of plaid, test your knowledge of the pattern.
The model's been prepped and the photo's been snapped — meet the face of Miu Miu Spring '09: Katie Holmes. This pairing came as a bit of a surprise to us, and we can now properly judge.
Katie's strong bone structure always photographs well and the sepia tone of the ad delivers a cool, vintage feel. Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the ads were inspired by Italian director Fellini, and hoped Katie would appear to be a "luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality." What do you think? Would you call this luminous?

I always look forward to greeting the mailman when he has my Urban Outfitters catalog in hand. If you don't get it, no fret, it's also online. The Spring '09 issue was recently released and I just had to share it with you. For me, it took me back to my Thailand days. I even got me a pair of similar slim harem pants, like left, during my vacation. Besides the dope clothes, I just love Urban's photography. It's always a little hazy and abstract. Just beware: after you see flip through this catalog, you may have an itch for a tropical getaway.
Being Barrymore isn't so hard after all. Just take a look at how ur_momm copied Drew Barrymore's grungy rocker look. Her gray cardi and dark jeans are a perfect match to Drew's. I also like how her tan booties give a sharp contrast to her gray palette. Rock on, sister.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
