I want to go to the annual Snowflake Ball. But, per usual, I must live vicariously through the charmed lives of Gossip Girl. Sigh. But a big event never sails smoothly — betrayal, embarrassment, and even hope, are always lurking in the shadows. Jenny continued to make frenemies; I think it's all growing pains for her really. Serena revealed that she may not be completely over Dan, and vice versa. Blair and Chuck yet again attempted to outpower each other but ended up whispering sweet nothings on the dance floor. But the big drama occurred with Lily and daddy Bass – is he or isn't he? We have to wait another week to find out, but in the meantime, Gossip Girl fashion will quench our thirst.

While we eagerly await Coco Avant Chanel, check out Karl Lagerfeld's directorial debut in his 10-minute silent film toasting Coco Chanel in her youth. “It’s a funny movie, unpretentious,” says Lagerfeld. “Chanel was a charming woman, at liberty to seduce men. Everybody this year has decided to make a movie about Chanel, and you know their historical worth is not always too exact.”
Karl kept his cast tight, choosing model Edita Vilkeviciute to play Coco, his bodyguard to play a nightclub owner, and workers in his atelier to play parts in the movie. “I cannot take extras,” says Lagerfeld. “They don’t know how to touch the clothes.” The short film, described as light-hearted and fun, premieres in Paris this week — we can't wait for it to hit the web!
Enter the castle of Victoria Beckham Collection and you will be greeted by a short and sweet film. The cutest thing: A group of friends, dressed in various ladylike frocks from the line, can be seen playing hide-and-seek. I can't recall the last time I played that! The seeker goes around the antique-filled home looking for her friends, who are hiding under couches and dressers, wearing lampshades and shopping bags over their heads. Queen Bee Victoria quietly sneaks into one of the bedrooms in her posh LBD and hides behind the curtains. Will she be discovered? Find out!
Kate Bosworth — All Black and All Fierce Forget about Mary . . . there's something about Kate. Her fashion sense is the perfect combination of effortless and put-together. She's never disheveled, but never too polished, either. Just when her Etro ethnic-print dress inspired me to wear more prints, she did a 180 and went the all-black route.

Shot in LA, right smack in front of the Hollywood sign "Y," it is stunning. Though you can barely recognize Claudia's face — it's more just a statuesque blonde in a long and lean navy ensemble — you can tell it's a pro in YSL garb. And notice how the silver grid shoes tie in with the black grid structure. Shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, this image will also serve as the cover of YSL's next manifesto. Behold: Spring YSL.
Try to peel your eyes of Marc Jacobs's glistening bod and focus on the bag.
The graffiti prints and Day-Glo colors are all part of the Louis Vuitton's limited-edition capsule collection honoring the late Stephen Sprouse.
In his homage, Jacobs uses Sprouse's famous graffiti and rose prints to create a pop art collection of bags, footwear, and clothes. “It’s this idea of a head-to-toe look in this brash, neon, rock ’n’ roll, edgy, street-informed style," said Jacobs. Sprouse really best personified it.”
The exclusive collection debuts next month along with a special website dedicated to Sprouse dubbed welovesprouse.com. The site, set to go live Dec. 15., will feature cool interviews from people who knew Sprouse and their commentary on how he influenced fashion and art.
Singer and actress Selena Gomez posed for pictures at the 2009 American Music Awards with a pretty pink smile on her face. She took advantage of the occasion and went glam; wearing a Talbot Runhof sequin dress with black strappy heels.
