Anne Hathaway and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton were spotted wearing Jasmine di Milo's artistic confection. Sweet Anne kept her look simple, accessorizing with a pair of dangly earrings and hot reptilian pumps. Emma added some spice to her life — pun intended — with a gold necklace and bold bangle. A structured patent bag and matching heels finishes off her look. Note how Anne's makeup is minimal and Emma's is red hot. Both are working the dress, but which look do you prefer?
Hands down, my best celebrity sighting at New York Fashion Week was Fab favorite Diane Kruger. I don't know what it is about her. No, actually, I do. She's demure and ladylike, but also experimental and youthful. This is how I like to describe my own personal style. And, just when you think you've nailed down her look, she wears something totally fresh and unexpected. She only attended the Tommy Hilfiger show — in mad plaid — and I had direct view of her. If you asked me to describe the Spring Hilfiger collection, you'd get a hazy explanation, because my eyes were struggling to stay on her while taking in the sporty, elegant clothes; it's usually the other way around. While Diane was whisked away too soon for me to catch her, I pulled a fast one and took her seat holder as a Fashion Week souvenir. Care to join the Fab fan club?
London Fashion Week, Spring 2009: Mulberry Mulberry gave us a preview of their Spring 2009 collection yesterday. This is the first collection by new Creative Director Emma Hill who took over from Stuart Vevers (now at Loewe).
The transitioning weather has left me nonplussed. For the past couple weeks, I've found myself standing in front of my closet longer then I would like — I don't know what to wear. It's not exactly freezing outside, but I can't pull off bare legs. So what's a girl to do?
Luckily, Net-A-Porter has put together an inspiring selection of transition-friendly items that will help us through this rough patch. Remember, it's all about working layers and finding an amazing pair of boots, much like these amazing Jimmy Choo Heather Patent boots. Check out some of my favorite pieces.
Ooh, it's the battle of the Sex and the City women. Actress Kristin Davis first wore this Michael Kors floral dress to Late Show With David Letterman back in May. It was a fine choice, considering the season and the popularity of floral frocks. She chose to cinch her waist with a purple belt and decorate her feet with black slingback sandals. Creator of SATC, Candace Bushnell, just wore the same dress to the show's DVD launch party. Her version doesn't consist of a belt; only a long necklace, a leopard clutch, and metallic peep-toe sandals. Which sexy woman gets your vote?
The 2008 Emmy Awards are almost here and stars are already stocking up on swag. Must be nice. Actress Ashley Tisdale showed up to the style lounge looking cute as ever in a plum ruffle dress worn under BDG's Double Stripe Cardigan. Check out the asymmetrical stripe detail on the left sleeve. The cardigan provides the ideal contrast to the girlie dress, as do her gray lace-up boots and Ray Ban Wayfarers.
Jenna Dewan walked down the street in Beverly Hills looking extremely chic and poised. Her structured white blazer framed her body perfectly, and paired well over her draped fringe Haute Hippie halter, denim leggings, and over-the-knee brown boots.
