Ruby Jean Wilson, the 18-year-old model who opened and closed Marc Jacobs's Spring 2013 show, stars in the collection's ad campaign — and a first look just made its way online. Juergen Teller shot the ads, in which Wilson preserved the Edie Sedgwick look she adopted for the show.

Jacobs's campaign is among the first of what will undoubtedly be many campaigns for the Scottish-born beauty, who started modeling in 2009 and made her runway debut in Lacoste's Spring 2011 show. Since then she's appeared in editorials for Teen Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Oyster, and Wonderland, among others. Wilson also starred in the Fall 2012 campaign for the Australian brand Jac + Jack.

A first look at Wilson's Marc Jacobs campaign — and some of her past work — here in the gallery.

Fashion's Biggest Names Get Animated For Barneys' Electric Holiday

Barneys won't debut anything from its holiday retail project until Wednesday, but stills from the coordinating film reveal a host of fashion people turned into cartoon characters.
Fashion Cartoons From Barneys & Disney Electric Holiday

Barneys won't debut anything from its holiday retail project until Wednesday, but stills from the coordinating film reveal a host of fashion people turned into cartoon characters.

In addition to the list of boldface names already included in Electric Holiday, the Disney animated film will feature animated versions of Linda Evangelista, Cathy Horyn, Daphne Guinness, Naomi Campbell, Franca Sozzani, Anna Dello Russo (at left), and Nicolas Ghesquière, among others. All of them participate in some way in Minnie Mouse's ultimate daydream: to walk down the runway during Paris Fashion Week.

The short film follows Minnie Mouse doing just that. After falling in love with a Lanvin dress she sees in a store window, Minnie Mouse slips into a reverie about wearing the dress in the City of Light. During her daydream, she stops to pose for Juergen Teller and Mario Sorrenti and rubs elbows with Carine Roitfeld.

A sneak peek at the film below, and a look at stills of all the fashion people here in the gallery.

Oh hey, Georgia May.
Georgia May Jagger For Vivienne Westwood Palladium Jewelry

Oh hey, Georgia May. The British beauty has been named the face of Vivienne Westwood's new Gainsborough palladium jewelry collection.

The diamond and sapphire baubles were inspired by the Paper Jewelry line Westwood introduced in her Fall 2000 Gold Label collection. A tiara, necklaces, earrings, ring, and bracelet comprise the collection, which is now available at Westwood's UK stores and on her website.

Jagger and Westwood celebrated the Juergen Teller-lensed ad campaign with a party during Paris Fashion Week. A look at the ad, the jewelry, and the party here in the gallery.

>> Today, at Pitti Immagine in Florence, Vivienne Westwood launched a new series of bags for her Ethical Fashion Africa Project. Handmade by men and women in Nairobi from recycled materials — electrical wiring, tent canvas, aluminum, plastic bags — the accessories are not only environmentally friendly, they're also community-sustaining. "It's not charity, it's work," Westwood says of the project's aim to create jobs in impoverished communities by teaching workers real skills. Ranging in price from $83 to $339, the collection is a colorful melange of chic prints, interesting textures and easy-to-wear shapes. The pieces are available online at yoox.com, with a special video shot by her campaign photographer, Juergen Teller. Click through the slideshow to see our favorites from the collection.

Two Kooky New Images of Helena Bonham Carter for Marc Jacobs Fall 2011

>> Marc Jacobs mentioned insane asylums as one of his Fall 2011 reference points, and it seems that just that is being channeled through the collection's campaign.

>> Marc Jacobs mentioned insane asylums as one of his Fall 2011 reference points, and it seems that just that is being channeled through the collection's campaign. After the first ad popped up last week showing Helena Bonham Carter upside down and splay-legged, two more images have surfaced, the first with Bonham Carter feigning ill with spots affixed on her face and hands, and the second with her panting and begging as a dog.

>> Every two years, the fashion flock meets the art world in Venice for a series of parties and power buys. This year, Hogan, Prada, and Missoni have been among the Venice Biennale event hosts, bringing out guests like Anna Wintour (who was spotted yesterday riding around the city's Grand Canal), Dasha Zhukova, and Naomi Campbell. While some have already come and gone — Anna Wintour, Francois-Henri Pinault, and Salma Hayek Pinault were already spotted attending the French Open in Paris today — we've the fleeting moments of the last couple of days' festivities captured in our slideshow at left.

Will Kate Moss Be in Louis Vuitton's Fall 2011 Ad Campaign? Plus, More Casting Rumors

>> The latest Fall 2011 campaign scuttlebutt: Isabeli Fontana is taking the early lead, with campaigns for Escada and Donna Karan booked, and a rumored appearance for Bottega Veneta as well.

>> The latest Fall 2011 campaign scuttlebutt: Isabeli Fontana is taking the early lead, with campaigns for Escada and Donna Karan booked, and a rumored appearance for Bottega Veneta as well. Karan's campaign, which was captured by Patrick Demarchelier the past three seasons, was snapped by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for Fall 2011.

Meanwhile, Steven Meisel shot (and Karl Templer styled) the Fall 2011 Louis Vuitton campaign in New York yesterday — but there will reportedly be no Kate Moss appearance as there was on the runway. In fact, no supermodels will be featured at all: Instead, the six models chosen are said to be from the current generation — "Top 50-ish, a bit new. Nothing from the Icon list." Daphne Groeneveld and Fei Fei Sun are rumored to be among them.

Kate Moss has reportedly been cast for another Fall 2011 campaign for Mango; however, it will be shot by Terry Richardson and is todaymaking lots of appearances on his blog.

Versace, like Donna Karan, is also switching up photographers — after going with Mario Testino for the past eight seasons, Donatella Versace has chosen Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to do the Fall 2011 honors (with styling by Joe McKenna). Originally, the Versace campaign, like Vuitton, was reportedly supposed to feature six models, including Candice Swanepoel and Groeneveld, but the photographers are rumored to have settled instead on one girl with "short dark hair" who is a "cover star." Some are thinking that might indicate Saskia de Brauw as Versace's new girl.

To round out the Fall 2011 campaign placements so far, Juergen Teller shot Irina Kulikova yesterday for Moschino at Turin's Ristorante del Cambio, Ralph Lauren has reportedly cast its runway opener Sui He, and Liu Wen is rumored to be in the upcoming Dolce & Gabbana campaign.
