2007 BET awards

While Beyonce's gold sci-fi performance outfit at the BET Awards may seem over-the-top - it's so cool to see someone wearing the gold mirrored leggings from Balenciaga's Spring collection! I know they are extreme but I give props to performers like Beyonce for bringing them to the stage to razzle dazzle us. How else are we going to see runway looks the real way. Well, you know how I feel - do you love it or hate it?

I continue to admire Jennifer for flaunting her bodacious figure and being so confident; she's an inspiration to us all. But I have to say her vintage-y floral print cocktail dress, though it fits like a glove, is a bit boring for the BET Awards. She could have spiced it up with some jewels, but she clearly decided to go the minimal route. What do you think?

I really like the color of Michelle's dress, but I'm not such a fan of the draping of the top and the negligee-like hemline. I wish she would look more comfortable in the limelight and quit living in the shadow of her Destiny's Child sisters Beyonce and Kelly. My verdict on the outfit? It's okay - nothing special. Rihanna looks simply smashing in her retro-inspired white strapless Herve Leger dress! The sweetheart neckline, the waist-accentuation, the hip-hugging, the well-placed hemline - all together, that dress makes her look s-e-x-y. And she accessorized well with the curly bob and nude heels! I love it! What do you all think?

Beyonce is looking beyond metallic in Dolce & Gabbana at the BET Awards last night. I love her makeup and hair but I think overall it's a bit too sparkly and tight. We know Beyonce loves to sparkle though so what do you think?
