Ok, so we know the Oscars already feels like forever ago, but we're still reeling about the performances, the parties and of course - the fashions. Now that we've heard your opinions about the best dressed, we want to know - Whom do you think was the worst dressed at the Vanity Fair party?
Ever wonder how much moolah goes into those perfectly perfect Oscars red carpet looks? I do. Check out this informative article that was in USA Today that tapped into my curiosity. Linda Wells, the editor in chief of Allure magazine, provided the inside scoop into the exorbitant costs of looking red carpet fantastic.
My favorite bit was about makeup artist Scott Barnes: "whose client list includes Celine Dion, Kimora Lee Simmons, Christina Aguilera and Lopez, charges in excess of $15,000, including travel, for the big day." $15,000 to get your make up done? Are you paying attention aspiring make up artists?
You all know my favorite Sunday night was Ms. Emily Blunt; her Calvin Klein gown spoke for itself and then all she needed was pretty, minimal jewelry and beauty to top off her look. How much do you want to bet her red carpet look was WAY less expensive than Jennifer Lopez's over the top choice. I'm just saying, it pays to look this good but some people maybe choose to pay a little too much.
One of Ellen's best moments of the night came when, after handing Scorsese a script she's been working on, she approached another Best Director nominee, Clint Eastwood. At first he thought that he, too, would be graced with Ellen's future cinema genius, but she had different plans for her moment with him -- and let's just say she made good use of a nearby-seated Spielberg. Little party dresses were all over these pretty young things at the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party. A fun flirty frock would have been my first choice for such an event so I thought this was a fun trend to report. You all thought Buffy was best dressed at the after parties, but here are a few more fab dresses to feast your eyes on. Oh, and I think Gabrielle Union's red strapless number is particularly foxy!

Lindsay and Nicole may have missed (or weren't invited to, whatever) the Oscars and the Vanity Fair after party, but that didn't keep them home for the night. LL and the inseparable Nicole/Joel met up with Hollywood's A-listers at Patrick Whitesall's Oscar after-party. Lindsay looks classy and beautiful in her metallic mini dress and matching shoes (looks like someone was paying attention to Grammy trends), and apparently she stayed sober too! Nicole probably looks good, but these details remained unconfirmed, as she seemed perfectly content just draping herself over Joel instead of showing off her outfit.
While the A-Listers were off at that stuffy (okay, fun looking) Vanity Fair party, Jennifer Love Hewitt was hosting the annual Esquire/AIDS charity benefit party at the Abbey. This Oscars party held court for Something-Listers like Lance Bass, Haylie Duff and her boyfriend AJ DiScala. Yeah, the guest list may not be utterly thrilling, but at least J-Love looked great! Get down with your Ghost Whispering self (though you'll always be Sarah Reeves to me), girl!

As Jennifer Hudson stepped onto the red carpet this Sunday, the world seemed to let out a collective Whaaaa? as they laid eyes on the silver bolero that would soon go down in Oscar fashion infamy. Thankfully, didn't make it on stage for her acceptance speech, but it seemed to be on the top of everyone's Worsts lists. Turns out, J-Hud herself might not have been too keen on the accessory, but her stylist for the evening, Vogue Celebrity Editor Andre Leon Talley insisted that she wear the thing. Scandal. "Jennifer was kind of sponsored by Talley and Vogue," said one fashionista. "Andre insisted she wear that hideous Oscar de la Renta dress with the awful, awful gold python bolero.
"Jennifer really didn't want to, and so [noted stylist] Jessica Paster got her a beautiful gold Roberto Cavalli custom-made. But when Andre found out, he went ballistic. Moments before she left for the show, there was a power struggle and Jennifer ended up putting his outfit on."
Awww, well it wasn't so bad. Plus, in a couple of months, her performance will be way more memorable than her jacket, right? Right?

Jennifer Aniston caught up with Oscar winner Helen Mirren at a Pre-Oscars party in LA last week. Jen looks like she's a big fan of Helen, whose style and class doesn't seem to be lost on anyone these days, even the Queen of England. Helen jokingly paid tribute to Her Majesty in her Best Actress Oscar speech and now word is that The Queen is arranging to have tea with the actress. Jen, on the other hand, has her own rendezvous rumors to deal with...
While filming her cameo on the season finale of Dirt, Jen reportedly found herself a new gentleman friend. Her rep, however, has quickly squashed that story, which is too bad, because we would love to see her find a new paramour.
