Heidi Klum took the spotlight more than once during the Emmy Awards in an assortment of fabulous outfits. Her onstage appearances ranged from elegant evening gowns to a (goofy) masculine suit. My favorite was Klum in that sexy black Elise Overland jumpsuit. Heidi worked it in every ensemble, but which look did you prefer?

Neutral colors range far and wide in the color palette so find a hue that complements your skin tone. It makes for a great backdrop against dramatic jewels or embellished details a la Wilde's beaded cap sleeves. Check which leading ladies walked in neutral territory . . .
The 2008 Emmys churned out a grand selection of gowns. But when it came to favorites, your votes went to either the light and lovely looks or the dark and mysterious ones. While there was color on the red carpet, the most stunning looks didn't need the help of a hue. My heart goes to Olivia Wilde in romantic Reem Acra, but also Debra Messing in dramatic Monique Lhuillier. Night and day, day and night. I knew there was something about January Jones when I met her. This is someone fashion eyeballs should be paying attention to. Her corseted white frilly Dolce & Gabbana dress is something to talk about. I love how it is romantic and sultry at the same time. And her triple headband and vintage-inspired accessories are icing on the Mad Men cake. Do you dig it?

I'm happy to see Eva Longoria going a little more dramatic than a lot of her colleagues on the red carpet. (You know I love a risk-taker.) If you look closely, you can spot a little green in her eyeliner. Though subtle, it actually makes a difference, as does the silver highlighter on her browbone (which matches her dress).
