The Partying Didn't Stop After the Costume Institute Gala

After the stunning red carpet, many of the fashionable stars of the Costume Institute Gala headed over to an afterparty hosted by Marc Jacobs at the Monkey Bar in NYC last night. Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake changed out of their formal wear into something more playful to party the night away. Kate Hudson, Liv Tyler, Kate Bosworth, Agyness Deyn and Stella McCartney all crammed into the backseat of a car, staying together after walking the red carpet. It was hard to miss Madonna in her eye-catching outfit as she went home on the arm of Jesus Luz. Josh Hartnett joined in on the festivities looking dashing in his tux, and even Naomi Campbell came out to play despite boycotting the gala. Don't forget to check out all of Fab and Bella's coverage today of the glitzy event.

The Costume Gala Delivers the Glitz and Glamour!

The Met's Costume Institute Gala did not disappoint last night in NYC, bringing us one of the most star-studded red carpets of the year.

The Met's Costume Institute Gala did not disappoint last night in NYC, bringing us one of the most star-studded red carpets of the year. The theme was "Model as Muse," which apparently brought out some interesting fashion choices. Kate Moss and Marc Jacobs were two of the hosts and had all eyes on them when they arrived first and her outfit included a turban. Justin Timberlake was also the man of the evening with Jessica Biel on his arm.

Rihanna switched it up for her first red carpet appearance in months and still looked sexy in her dramatic menswear. Josh Jackson and Diane Kruger can do no wrong in our eyes so it was not a surprise that they're perfectly put together. Something must have gotten into the Gossip Girl ladies because they both went with bold choices — Blake slicked down her hair and showed off a long sexy slit while Leighton might have landed herself on a few worst dressed lists.

In case you missed it, Gisele Bundchen accessorized her hot dress with her new big diamond ring and hot husband. Plus I have to give a shout out to the Olsens who looked totally different but both great. Love Ashley's sexy open back dress. Keep checking back today as Fab and Bella go through the big trends and how tos from all the red carpet looks and before then — Who do you think was best dressed last night?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Leighton Meester

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester bravely walked the red carpet wearing a psychedelic paisley print avant-garde confection by Louis Vuitton.

Gossip Girl Leighton Meester bravely walked the red carpet wearing a psychedelic paisley print avant-garde confection by Louis Vuitton. The dress and matching tights are a little over the top for my liking, but props to Meester for trying new things. Satin Louis Vuitton ankle wrap pumps (Victoria Beckham wore a similar pair ), jeweled bangles, and cherry-red lips top her doll-like ensemble. Do you love it or hate it?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Liv Tyler

Lovely Liv looks every bit the part of a '40s screen siren — with a bit of '80s eye makeup for a twist.

Lovely Liv looks every bit the part of a '40s screen siren — with a bit of '80s eye makeup for a twist. The smoky eye is more surprising when it's done in shades of blue, and shiny raspberry lips make the most of Liv's pretty pucker. (Also, I want her perfect eyebrows.) Do you love this ladylike look, too?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria and her hubby Tony walked the red carpet together tonight. Eva is no stranger to looking sultry, so it's not surprising that her Diane von Furstenberg dress has a huge cleavage-revealing keyhole. A metallic chain-link necklace toughens her up a smidgen. Verdict?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Ivanka Trump

Ivanka Trump doesn't need much to stun, but a little Brian Reyes never hurt anyone.

Ivanka Trump doesn't need much to stun, but a little Brian Reyes never hurt anyone. Her nude tulle gown exudes beautiful sophistication. Note how the slim back belt calls attention to her waist — nice. For accessories, Ivanka chose silver drop earrings and bangles from her own jewelry line, satin Christian Louboutin peep-toe pumps, and Judith Leiber clutch. What do you think?

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: Kate Bosworth

It seems that Kate Bosworth may have used old Hollywood as her inspiration — instead of the models as her muse — for her look tonight.

It seems that Kate Bosworth may have used old Hollywood as her inspiration — instead of the models as her muse — for her look tonight. She was the spitting image of Veronica Lake. Her long, open curls called to mind the actress of the '40s, and her makeup was just as stunning (though not as reminiscent since Lake's films were in black-and-white). What do you think of Miss Bosworth's glamorous look? Do you like that she tried something more retro, or would you have preferred a more current look like Rihanna?

Tyra Banks emitted elegance tonight wearing a black beaded strapless gown. An old school updo and cascading ruffles give a vintage vibe while modern adornments update her vixen look. Do you love it or hate it?
