Katy paraded around Grammys weekend in ultra frilly frocks all leading up to her Carmen Miranda-inspired performance costume. She's not afraid of color, kitsch and showing off her entertainer-toned bod. Go Katy! Here are her four key looks. She went dramatic pink in Basil Soda for the show red carpet, flapper-esque lavender Georges Chakra for the Salute to Industry Icons red carpet, fruit loopy for the stage, and ruffled pink Jenny Packham for the press room. Compared to other award shows, the Grammy Awards tends to bring out the funky side of stars. You never know what you're going to see. Five ladies in particular brought their fashion A game tonight. Black was a big color on the red carpet, but Taylor Swift, in Kaufman Franco, stood ahead of the black pack. On the lighter end of the spectrum was Katy Perry in her dreamy pink Basil Soda gown. And, speaking of funky, Jennifer Hudson's origami dress had me staring. Together, we determined the standouts, but who takes the cake?

Avert your eyes from Keyshia Cole's stunning necklace, and focus your attention on her hair and makeup. Keyshia went a little more elegant on the red carpet at tonight's Grammys, and it suits her. The pinnacle of her look was the pulled-back updo with tight-rolled curls at the top. And though the hair is the focus, her eyes are popping too with those fabulous falsies. Once you get Estelle's Grammy-nominated, super-catchy "American Boy" in your head, it's tough to forget. And tonight, the British rapper and songstress goes for a look you'll probably never forget, with this somewhat futuristic silver and gold look.

While Jennifer Hudson went with multi-toned eye shadows as well, Estelle takes it to a whole new level with dramatic fake lashes, intense silvers, a hint of gold, and highly-defined eyeliner. She tops it all off with glossy lips and some reddish highlights in her short locks. Are you mad for metallics?

Taylor Swift shows off a grown-up Grammy look with elegantly pinned hair and eyeliner extending dramatically past the edge. I'm loving her lip color and the way her sparkly earrings stand out amidst her waves.

She'll be performing tonight with her pal, Miley Cyrus (who chose a more youthful style tonight), and I'm wondering how their styles will complement onstage. Back to Taylor, though. While I think she seems rather polished, could this look too mature for her 19 years?

Actress Zooey Deschanel might not be up for a Grammy tonight, but the girl sure can sing — so perhaps it's just a matter of time before her own band, She & Him, gets nominated. Accompanied by her fiance Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie, Zooey sticks to her signature, slightly quirky style.

As for her makeup? She keeps it simple, focusing the attention upwards on those pretty blue eyes and sparkling hair accessory. Since she's wearing lots of black mascara and a heavier application of coppery toned shadow, the rest of Zooey's makeup is softly pink. So, tell me what you think — are you dazzled?

It looks like LeAnn Rimes hair stylist could have reached for Bumble and bumble's Surf Spray to create her sexy, beach-y waves. It's the perfect style to complement her gently sun-kissed tan. And though it seems a little more pretty than rock-and-roll chic, LeAnn pulls it off. Her makeup is just as simple and lovely. Up for several Grammys tonight, the singer chooses eye makeup to complement her black, white, and gray dress. Notice how her eye shadows and eye liner shades get deeper as they near the outer corners. Glossy lips and a sleek updo finish off her classic look with a modern twist. What's your opinion?
