Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were only on stage at the VMAs for a brief moment introducing the hot New Moon trailer, but backstage they posed together for a few quick shots. While Taylor Lautner was standing by, Robert and Kristen's chemistry is clear as they share a rare physically close pose for the cameras. So hot.
There were so many gorgeous ladies on the red carpet at last night's MTV VMAs, but a few of the looks didn't turn out so well with too much embellishment or too little fabric. We've already talked about the moonman winners at last night's MTV VMAs and the A-list beauty and fashion looks that were on the red carpet, but what did you think of the performances?
I know some of you were unsure about tuning in this year, but I'm so glad I did, if for no other reason than to see Janet Jackson perform "Scream" as a tribute to Michael. Lady Gaga was over-the-top as always with her bloody rendition of "Paparazzi," and Pink cranked it up a notch with an actual high-wire acrobatic act. And since Jay-Z has been at the forefront of my mind lately, you know I was psyched to see him close out the show with Alicia Keys belting it out at the piano.
So many great artists, so hard to choose! Which one was your favorite?
You would have thought it was still pre-Labor Day with the way celebrities were wearing white eye shadow on the red carpet. Ladies from The Hills, from The City, and from just plain ol' Hollywood were all about the white out, whether, like Beyonce, they kept it subtle along their upper lids or, like Lauren Conrad, had major white shadow along the inner eyes and lots of black eyeliner along the outer. We already know that white nail polish is a major trend of the moment, so perhaps white eye shadows will also be hot this season. What's your take on this bright-eyed look?
Many of the big winners from last night's MTV VMAs headed backstage after picking up their moonmen to pose for photos in the press room. Ladies in red Taylor Swift and Beyonce Knowles were together again after their special moment on stage, when Beyonce invited Taylor back to finish the acceptance speech Kanye West had interrupted. He apologized for his outburst already, and Taylor even addressed the incident. She said, "I don't know him, and I've never met him, so . . . I don't want to start anything because I had a great night." Elsewhere in the press room, three blondes Madonna, Kristin Cavallari, and Lady GaGa enjoyed a few photo ops before heading out to make the rounds at all the afterparties.

The MTV VMAs brought its share of drama last night — some amazing performances, a heartfelt Michael Jackson tribute, and a huge moment that had everyone talking — it was a show that will go down in history. Check out all the winners here! The biggest story of the night was Kanye West making a scene when Taylor Swift won Best Female Video, but thankfully it all ended well when Beyonce Knowles sweetly called her up onto the stage to have her moment and he apologized profusely. The night was dedicated to Michael Jackson and kicked off with a touching tribute from Madonna and a performance including his sister Janet. The other big moment came when Kristen Stewart debuted her hot short haircut on stage with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner to debut another New Moon trailer — watch it here.
Eminem was also a big winner for the night, walking away with a Moonman and participating in some funny sketches with Tracey Morgan. Lady GaGa had countless costume changes and a performance that left her hanging covered in fake blood. We loved seeing Jay-Z finish off the night with Alicia Keys as well as Pink's trapeze act and Beyonce's big group "Single Ladies." Whether they went short or long, the gorgeous girls on the red carpet at last night's VMAs sparkled in metallic hues. Taylor Swift led the glamorous parade in her floor-length gown, while Leighton Meester and Kristin Cavallari looked hot in their silvery dresses — both of them are doing well in Fab's best dressed poll, but who do you think deserves the title? Jennifer Lopez's featured an intricate neck, and the first of Ashley Greene's two looks of the evening had a gold skirt.
Stephanie Pratt stuck with the theme in her rhinestone-encrusted dress, while unintentional twins Pink and Shakira's dresses had a little gold embroidering. A few ladies paved their own ways style-wise — big winner of the evening Beyonce picked a bright red mini, Whitney Port stepped out in a black and white Christopher Kane, and Lauren Conrad picked a similarly simple short frock.
