Things got a little chilly — on the style tip, at least — at the 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards. While the red carpet saw an abundance of cool-toned blue gowns, some actresses opted for cool-toned shadows. They ranged from subtle silvers, as seen on Emily Blunt, to bold blues à la Freida Pinto. One common theme? Regardless of whether the shadow has a matte or shimmery finish, this look dazzles best with complementary rosy- or pink-toned cheeks and lips.

Who Was the Worst Dressed Housewife at the SAG Awards?
Most of the ladies on last night's SAG Awards red carpet sparkled in their gowns, so we decided to switch up our usual worst dressed poll by focusing on one group of actresses who seemed to collectively miss the fashion target — the women of Desperate Housewives. While it's neck-and-neck between Kate Winslet and Evan Rachel Wood on Fab in the race for Best Dressed, tell us — who was the worst dressed housewife at the SAGs?

Sean, Meryl and Kate Strike a Pose With Their Actor Statue
Last night the actors acknowledged themselves at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. The ladies looked marvelous and the men were relaxed on the red carpet. This show included some great laughs and the speeches were fun and after all the winners said their thanks they headed back to the press room to pose with their new trophies. Sean Penn was overlooked by the globes but not by his peers while the 30 Rock cast continued to score again and again. Alec Baldwin brought along his beautiful daughter Ireland as his date while Tina spoke about her baby girl in her speech. Meryl was shocked with her win and noted she didn't even bother to buy a dress. Kate Winslet and Slumdog Millionaire continued to score awards this season. Do you think they are going to be shoo-ins for the Oscars?

SAG Awards Let Actors Like Tina, Kate & Sean Mingle and Win
It was a big celebratory dinner party for Hollywood's finest last night as actors of TV and movies came together for the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Both the women and the men brought some excitement on the red carpet, but when they got inside it was all about mingling between awards. Brad and Angelina stayed in their seats other than when he was presenting Button as an ensemble cast nominee, but kept the smiles big for whenever the cameras panned their way. They were in better spirits than the red carpet at least. Penelope Cruz snuggled up to Meryl Streep who walked away with a statue while John Krasinski hung out with Josh Brolin and Steve Carell — let us know what you think about the winners here.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler posed together. An emotional Gary Oldman accepted the award on behalf of Heath Ledger who earned another win. Otherwise, Katie Holmes looked fantastic presenting her award and we're always happy to see Mad Men recognized. In that same vein, yay for Slumdog Millionaire, which was the night's big winner, which bodes well for next month's Oscars.

Angelina and Kate Lead the Ladies Down the SAG Red Carpet
Some of our favorite actresses got glammed up to walk the red carpet at last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards. Angelina Jolie and Kate Winslet were joined by Slumdog Millionaire's Freida Pinto in different hues of blue, which turned out to be the shade of the night. Angelina even stopped to talk to the press — tell us if you like her friendly or b*tchy interview better. Eva Longoria dazzled in another bright award season look, and Amy Adams and Evan Rachel Wood, who seems to be in image overhaul mode, were also on trend in their bright colorful gowns.
Meanwhile, Anne Hathaway and Amy Poehler kept things more simple in white. American Ferrera opted for a neutral tone, and Tina Fey wore one of the evening's only short looks. Emily Blunt added a little sex appeal to things in her sheath and Penelope Cruz looked classy, as always, in a black halter-necked dress. Check over 200 red carpet photos below and let us know what you think about all the looks on Bella and Fab's love it or hate it polls.

The Boys Relaxed and Let Handsome Shine at SAG Awards
While the women stood out in vivid colors, the men kept things basic as usual for last night's Screen Actors Guild Awards. Brad Pitt accented with one of the night's most popular colors, blue, to match Angelina's dress. The men of Milk looked handsome as Sean, who took the stage later in the night, observed the award's endowment — check out all the night's winners here. Otherwise, highlights as usual included David Duchovny well dressed as always and suave Michael C. Hall, who I agree we should see more of. We have a sexiest man at the SAGs faceoff coming up, but until then do you have any favorites?

Screen Actors Guild Awards Trend Alert: Blue School
The SAG ladies must of heard me when I preached blue dresses this season. Tonight, they jumped on the blue school bus and wore an amazing array of cool hued dresses ranging from striking cobalt to periwinkle. Can this be the new LBD? Only time will tell but check out the bevy of beauties sporting bodacious blue dresses. First up is Kate Winslet wearing an insanely, irresistible gown by Narciso Rodriguez . . .
Screen Actors Guild Awards Trend Alert: Halter Queens
Halter queens infiltrated the red carpet tonight. Actresses like January Jones (left), Penelope Cruz, Olivia Wilde, Diane Lane, Jane Krakowski, Julia Ormond and newcomer Freida Pinto, all wore different colors and patterns, but they had one thing in common: Halter necklines. January's Andrew Gn halter dress was one of the most eye-catching. Other halter styles came in reds, periwinkles, chiffons, velvet, and white. Check them out.
