We're usually always smitten with Kate Bosworth's street-style moments, and the look she tried on while out and about in London is no exception. More specifically, we're eying the look with envy because of a fabulous bit of arm candy in the form of Mulberry's Pre-Fall '11 chain-strap bag. The supple leather, croc texture, classic chain-strap, and goes-with-anything neutral hue would be a luxe addition to any look — and I suspect a way to lend instant-chic to anything in my wardrobe. Add it to your wishlist and preorder at Mulberry.com.

Pre-Fall 2011 Trends: Want to Get Knitty With It?
Maybe it's not enough to have a sweater. Maybe you need a sweater that makes a bold statement. Missoni, Pringle, Marni, and Proenza Schouler all got creative with their knitwear for Pre-Fall, debuting styles that are heavy on texture, pattern, and color. Will you wear these new knits or are they way too in-your-face for you?

Proenza Schouler's Crafty Pre-Fall Collection
Proenza does a brilliant job of injecting sophisticated, urban chic styles with a hugely refreshing dose of bohemian craftiness. Designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez showed a Pre-Fall collection filled with ikat prints, multicolored woven textures, and warm stripes, all in styles we can wear around the city. We love the ready-to-wear, but what really got us going were the fantastic accessories (which include the PS1 in new colors). Brightly woven shoes? Yes, please! Click our slideshow to check out the best of Proenza's Pre-Fall accessories collection.

Dior Unveils Royalty-Inspired Pre-Fall Collection
What happens when John Galliano gets inspired by the Duchess of Windsor's iconic style? A fun, youthful mix of classic English looks and ladylike flourishes that is perfect for a highfalutin weekend at Balmoral Castle. We love the hats in the collection, and given soon-to-be Princess Kate's affection for them, might he have been designing with her in mind as well?
The '70s Beat Goes on Into Pre-Fall
Good news for you '70s fans: the flowy dresses, flare-leg pants, and big hats that dominated Spring runways are still relevant in Pre-Fall. That groovy era of boho hippies and Carly Simon songs (time to cue You're So Vain) lives on. We've put together a slideshow of the top five ways designers continue to channel the '70s in their Pre-Fall collections.
Color Combo to Try: Black + Brown
Alexander Wang's Pre-Fall collection gave major attitude, but I'm not mad at it. In fact, I'm in love with it. In particular, I'm digging how Wang unapologetically fused two colors that are viewed as arch fashion enemies. Just like black and navy, black and brown is a marriage that can be totally sophisticated. You can also throw in a dark gray piece — like Wang did at the right — to offset the black and brown. I'm definitely jumping on this color combo, are you? Click to shop the pieces above.
Alexander Wang Gives Us a Whole Lot of Attitude For Pre-Fall 2011
Alexander Wang can really do no wrong in my book, so I was thrilled to see his supersize Pre-Fall 2011 collection. Aptly titled "Rough Refinement," Wang's offerings showcase modern cuts, smart tailoring, and forward-thinking silhouettes — the collection gives off a cool, downtown-chic attitude, while staying true to the line's feminine sensibilities. With a moody color palette of black, dark brown, and gray, the selection features a welcome addition of sexy sheers, angular lines, and artful draping — perfect for the confident, tough girl-on-the-go. Stella McCartney Debuts Sleek Lines, Preppy Accents For Pre-Fall '11
Fashion insiders gathered in NYC to take in Stella McCartney's Pre-Fall '11 presentation. Teen Vogue's Amy Astley and Bergdorf's Linda Fargo, among others, were treated to a collection of reimagined classics. Rich cranberry colors and emerald greens dominated on coats and separates; leafy, fern prints cover dresses; stripes on soft, feminine shifts, and delicate lace for evening. It's a definitive departure from the designer's citrus-bright Spring looks and seems to welcome Fall in every silhouette and color-rich detail.
