Prada's Spring 2011 collection at Milan Fashion Week bled bright colors like cobalt blue, lime green, sunny yellow, and kelly green. My favorite look was this sleeveless, knee-length dress with traffic cone orange, hot pink, and black stripes paired with a Cheshire Cat-esque fur stole in pink and green. The combination of bold, bright stripes is fearless, fun, and eye-catching.
I'd love to have a room in my home with equally arresting stripes. I'm thinking white walls and floors with a no-holds-barred mix of brightly striped accessories and upholstered furniture and some statement-making, modern artwork on the walls.
